I think King Felix is the best pitcher. Then it's Verlander, Price, Kershaw, Strasburg, Cueto. IMO.

Justin Masterson from Cleveland is a also beast. Verlander's a choker in important games.

It's a shame what happened to Cueto... May he have a speedy recovery.

Cruz and Peralta: ouch!  Also, the Yankees have now lost another player, this time for the rest of the season, in Cervelli.  A-Rod's super-suspension should be coming within a couple hours.

It's official. A-Rod is suspended through the 2014 Season. He is expected to appeal so that means he can play until the appeal is heard.

So he'll back in the 2015-2016 season?

I don't see anyting on mlb.com yet on A-Rod.

SportsCenter's FB page broke the news first.

I was surprised they didn't suspend David Ortiz for breaking our phones lol.

A-Rod will be suspended for 211 games.  The Yankees will save about $40 million during his suspension.

On August 5th, 13 players were suspended for a total of 811 games.  Braun was also recently suspended 65 games for his role in Biogenesis.  While A-Rod's mega-suspension is the most impactful in the field of baseball overall, the  most damaging suspension in terms of Ws and Ls is Nelson Cruz.  He has played an enormous role this season in maintaining TEX's offensive firepower following the departure of Josh Hamilton.  By not appealing the suspension, TEX must try to keep up with OAK in the pennant race while Cruz institutes damage control in the final year of his contract.

Damn, KC has been absolutely massacring the competition lately!  Here's hoping the boys at Kauffman remain relevant for some time to come.

Dodgers look good.
Their already impressive rotation adds the Beard to their pitching rotation.

That could be huge in the playoffs

Brian Wilson?!

Yes, and he's in rehab.

If he comes back come playoff time that already good pitching rotation just becomes dangerous

I'm loving the Dodgers right now after tearing up the Rays.

Clayton does that.

The Dodgers have one of the best rotations In the game. Lot of solid hitters too.

Really Bartolo?

You're supposed to be our ace while Anderson is hurt lol.
No matter. My boy Parker(who might be really good next year), is pitching tomorrow.

He can get suspended or retrie when Anderson comes back lol. When Anderson returns the pitching rotation is rock solid.
