People vote this down because it's not realistic. We just drafted GG in the 4th round last year. Just LAST YEAR. It takes years for some players to develop.
Welcome to the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, Matt Elam, #32nd overall, 1st round pick!
Welcome to the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, Arthur Brown #56th overall, 2nd round pick!
Welcome to the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, Brandon Williams, #94th overall, 3rd round pick!

Everyone this year thinks he is not ready to be a starter in the league yet and they are probably right so what do yall propose we do with him Trade him, Waive Him,or just Release Him comment on what yall think we should do and please don't vote this post down
Your posts man... What? None of the above. I'm hoping Gino develops into more than a back-up but I'm not optimistic. I say we bring in a stop-gap veteran on a 3-year deal, similar to what we did with Birk, let Gino develop behind him for one more year, and if it doesn't look like he's the center of the future at the end of next season then you draft a center. I think the stop-gap veteran route can work simply because of the emergence of KO at LG. Flanked by KO and Yanda, just about any center can be serviceable.

Mt. Crushmore always makes about a million posts in a minute.
You no longer make a million posts a minute. You make a million trades a minute now....

thats not even the point, he thinks he can't start, fair enough his opinion, but why because he can't does he have to be cut or tradedI actually think he is ready to start and can be a great C in this league.

Gino played very well week 17 vs the bengals. He held his own against Atkins, who is one of the better DTs in the league. With a strong offseason, I see Gradkowski as the starter at C if Birk does indeed retire.

Yeah I actually am thinking we could cut Birk and go on with Gino starting this season.

I don't think we'll have to cut Birk, I think he's ready to retire now that he's got his ring.
I firmly believe that Gino will be our starting center next season.

Gradkowski is fine. He will be our starter when Birk retires. He started week 17 and played excellent. He has also looked good in limited roles prior to that.

I know you're relatively young, but take some time and think before you post. We don't need new posts for everyone of your ideas. Take some time and research around the league. Has a team ever traded a 3rd string RB for a 3rd round pick? Teams just don't give up players for no reason. No team in their right mind would ever make any of the proposed deals.
Contribute to other people's threads in a proper manner. Research and think about your threads before you post them. I'm not trying to be too harsh to you. I'm just trying to tell you how you can gain respect around here and learn more about the game and how the business-side of it works.
