Voting Topic: Allotted time frame of 8 hours and 12 hours for the Undrafted Free Agency period.


Corresponding Plan and Potential Outcome: The current proposal will impact the said time frame in accordance to the location of the potentially affected parties.


Reasoning: Shortening the time slots in hopes of accelerating the bogged down pace of the UDFA process, in hopes of finishing several rounds before the beginning of the real life Draft.


Outline of Available Options:

Option 1 - For every GM located 3 hours or fewer from the Eastern Time Zone, the span will be shortened down to 4 hours. For every GM located outside of this region, it will be shortened to 6 hours.

 

Option 2 - For every GM located 3 hours or fewer from the Eastern Time Zone, the span will be shortened down to 6 hours. For every GM located outside of this region, it will be shortened to 8 hours.

 

Option 3 - Allow the allotted time frame to remain at 8 hours for every GM located 3 hours or fewer from the Eastern Time Zone, and 12 hours for every GM located outside of this region.

Truth, do you think it is possible to enforce this now, or do we have to wait until later? I'm only asking because a few people have expressed the desire for it to go now, and I have yet to hear objection so I figured I would ask for a consensus.

I do think that it's possible, given the circumstances, but we would likely need permission from either JO_75 or Mt. Crushmore. Is there a chance that you could contact either one to see about this matter? I agree in that the voting span should be shortened.
