Yeah, it was a poor move. I haven't really commented on any cuts or trades. I just express my surprise, but I don't really question people but that move really shocked me. I wouldn't have cut him, personally. CBs were the highest paid position after QB from my research last year. 1S is a steal for a quality CB--even one for depth. The only way you can get cheaper is through the draft. I don't even think Cary Williams or some low-level CB free agents fetch 1S or less in FA.

Lol, I won't lie. That's why I asked the question "can we reverse cuts?" I was going to mesage him and tell him to reverse it and I would trade him my 4th for Prince. The worst part is, I thought about messaging him about Prince after Kyle Wilson was traded, but I was like "I won't get Prince for less than a 3rd, possibly a 2nd". Now, he's cut. Man. I am kicking myself.

Was he on the block? Even if he was and no one asked about him, I wouldn't have cut a young, cheap CB with his skill-set. I'm not even high on him long-term but I would have held onto him.

I watch all the Giants games, being a New Yorker. He's overrated. That being said, not one person asked for him, so all the interested parties are going to have to cannibalize ach other in a bidding war. Luckily, I got DeAngelo Hall in a deal.

I don't know if I'd call that lucky. Hall is arguably the worst starting CB in the league. I wouldn't even want him as my dime back's backup.

I definitely don't rate Amukamara highly. Had anyone offered you a 3rd for him, you would have gotten the better end of the deal.

Believe me. I wish you could un-cut players before FA begins. I would be really happy with that. Lots of players I saw cut I really liked and they were cheap. Kinda surprised TBH. And I didn't ask because I didn't think you would trade him for cheap. If I knew, I would've made you some kind of offer. Believe me. I don't think he's amazing. I thought he was overrated out of college. With that said, he would be a solid CB as a dime or even nickel. He's cheap depth at the very least. It's over, but I would recommend you mention players who are "on the block" before cutting them.

Keep in mind he was playing injured for half the season. He just had surgery to fix the situation. WAS' D overall underperformed.

I hear you. I was making a point, which is that good stats don't mean great player. IMO, the lower tackles a CB has the better because it often means QBs avoid throwing their way or they don't give up the pass in the first place.
