Can we veto cuts? Really???
Would you pay 11.5 for an aging QB who chokes in every clutch situation he has ever been in?

I don't blame him for cutting Romo. If Jerry was smart, he would do the same.

Not really, but that's a whole different issue because of their cap situation. If they cut him they have no way to free up cap, but if they extend him they can potentially keep more players.

Reality is Romo is a much better QB than people give him credit for.

this so freaking much. What Romo does with that piece of crap of an excuse they call an o-line is just absolute freaking magic. Put him on the Pats or any other team with decent protection and he'd probably light up the league. Wouldnt surprise me if he was the next one to say he was elite and backed it up.

His ability to extend plays is frankly insane.

Exactly this. The Cowboys would never be in any games to worry about how well he performs in the clutch without him. This team would be under .500 every year. They are horrible up front in the offense and abysmal in the middle of the defense as well as corner back. The fact of the matter is Romo is a franchise QB, of which there are NOT close to 32 alive. He should never be cut. And would never be cut under any circumstance.

This part is completely untrue. Carr and Claiborne are actually a really good tandem that made the Cowboys defense best against the pass at one point

The middle of their defense is great when its healthy (Sean Lee going down really hurt them)

That defense like their quarterback is severely underrated and Rob Ryan did not deserve to be fired as he actually improved it.

Yeah, their D had so many injuries last year. They just didn't have the depth like we did to overcome.

To be fair their D actually played just as well as we did, but our red zone D was what saved us.

Let it be stated that I do not think Romo is a horrible quarterback and I never said he was. I feel that I am getting a equal if not greater performer in Alex Smith and I am saving 4 stars. Lets not get reckless here, this is the cut thread not the debate over what FreckleNate does thread.

Saving 4 stars but it cost you a 2nd round pick to get a lesser QB. But, hey it's your team.

If a roster bonus is like 220,000 and you cut the player do you round to .5 or 0
Anything under 250,000 is 0
