I was able to acquire Dunta Robinson and Stephan Nicholas to help my defense, but both sides of the ball need some work. If I land another corner, I am more than fine with Dunta, Huff, Branch and said corner as my secondary.

[/quote]its going to take them a few solid years of drafting and not signing bad players to bad deals to bring them back. You'd know more about their cap than me but would it not make sense to make one big purge in one season and eat all the guaranteed money on them bad deals, get top 5 first round picks for probably at least three years and hope to rebuild that way.

Year after next they would have cleared the majority of the bad deals and then could sign vets to smart deals to help the rebuilding process.

Cox is a UDFA. He was never a 7th round pick. I may have forgotten, but I thought it was 1st, 2nd, or ROFR which is based off of where they were originally drafted.
