The Cincinnati Bengals Announce the cuts of the following:
WR Miles Austin (5.5 Stars) - After realizing he is too expensive and I already have perfectly good receivers to fill in and have a number of high draft picks.
DT Kendall Langford (5 Stars) - After realizing 5 stars is too much to pay for a backup DT in my system. Trading a 6th for him was a mistake.
RT Andre Smith (10 Stars but only 5 Saved since he was a free agent acquisition.) - After realizing that I grossly over payed and can't afford for my RT to be the highest paid player on my roster while having a starting caliber player in Wharton behind him.
I realized that I must cut my losses and I believe that this is a step in the right direction.
Net Savings: 15.5 Stars

Didn't you sign some/all of these players in free agency? If so, you have to eat the cap hit.
