Fitzpatrick isn't an upgrade over Cassel though. I don't want to pay 4.5 for a guy who is basically a backup.

I guess it's a matter of opinion but I don't see much difference in their skill levels. Both have had strong moments in otherwise forgettable careers. I like my options in the draft better than either tbh

I dont think we can trade RFAs. They get tendered and then teams can bid like every other FA. I think you need to cool your jets a little bit.

[/quote]went for a 4.5 star salary, when you consider I lose a second which is 1 star a 3.5 net difference for a great possession wide receiver working the middle of the field will be great for manning. Dallas Clarke type player

Yeah, but we havent started the bidding period yet. That happens after the deadline to tender players, Feb 22. You are the one who is jumping the gun. RFAs are no different than any other FA, every team gets a chance to bid on them if they want.

It's not like RFA hit free agency in real life, a team has to contact their current team if they are RFA. Why didnt you bring this up last night when I made the offer in the discussion thread?
