Suh/Stafford/Megatron are the marquee player of the Lions. Also I found this part hilarious
i wouldn't class suh as being marquee, but both gms cancelled the trade, if the lions trade suh again you can veto and we will vote.

He is arguably their only big name on the defensive side of the ball and is phenomenally talented (really should have been the #1 pick over Bradtford).
but he's caused so much trouble I think they wouldn't consider him a marquee player anymore. I'm not sure they will resign him when he hits free agency tbh.

I mean I guess its in how you define a marquee player. I define it between production and fan base draw. Suh qualifies under both. That doesnt mean I think he is untradeable, just that I think Suh is a marquee player.

I'm talking to three teams about a QB. If anyone is interested in trading their QB let me know. I'd like a QB with a good cap hit. Not too high.

Matt Hasselbeck QB 5.5 David Stewart T 5 Jason McCourty CB 5 Steve Hutchinson G 5 Nate Washington WR 4 Kamerion Wimbley DE 4 Eugene Amano C 4 Michael Griffin S 3.5 Fernando Velasco C 3 Rob Bironas K 3 Craig Stevens TE 2.5 Terrence McGee CB 2 Lavelle Hawkins WR 2 Jordan Babineaux S 1.5 Kenny Britt WR 1.5

Players I would trade. Some would require a really nice deal for me to trade them.

The cap #s here are wrong.

Kansas City
Jon Baldwin - 1 Stars
Tony Moeaki - 1.5 Stars
5th Rounder - 0.5 Star - 129th

Carolina Panthers
Chris Gamble - 8 Stars

Btw the Chiefs now have the best secondary outside of Seattle and Hali and Houston to rush the passer. I dare any team to try to air it out on KC.

Instead of doing a whole rebuilding project on the Chiefs, Andy Reid convinced you to put together another dream team didn't he?

The Chiefs are a QB away from contention. I fully believe I can make this team into a superbowl contender in 1 offseason.

I think you're right. Chiefs have a good defense with some excellent pieces and even on offense have some nice pieces. All they really needed were a few OL pieces, another CB, a QB of course. But otherwise, the Chiefs have a nice team in place. I wanted the Chiefs for what it's worth. The Titans were my 8th choice.

I've already traded for Eugene Monroe and now Gamble, so all that's left is a QB!

Ahh, but how are you going to go about getting one?

There isn't a single QB in this class that's going to take a team straight in to Championship contention.

With a dominant OL, I think Smith could do it.

Chiefs have Charles as well back there. They could run the pistol as well as the 49ers.

I actually really like Geno Smith. He has a great arm and is very accurate. He's mobile and has tremendous footwork. I don't understand the knock on him, I think he could be very successful as a rookie. He might not be Luck or RGIII but he's better than Bradford was coming out and he was great as a rookie. I'm still looking into acquiring a QB via trade too. The 1st overall pick gives me lots of options here.

Smith has a big contract and Flynn is a bit expensive for an unproven option. I prefer Geno Smith to either of them but I may go after Alex Smith if he comes cheaply enough in FA.

Trade Block:
Jason McCourty CB (5S)
Kenny Britt WR (1.5S)
Michael Griffin FS (3.5S)
Eugene Amano C (4S)
Jordan Babineaux S (1.5S)
Steve Hutchinson G (5S)
Lavelle Hawkins WR (2S)
Nate Washington WR (4S)

Looking for picks, players.
Positions of Interest: QB, CB, RB, 4-3DE, MLB, DT, OG.

In a QB, I'm looking at a really good cap hit, less than 5S. In CB, I'd only trade for one if I lose McCourty but I am willing to listen to players because that would make McCourty more expendable. In terms of OG, I'm really looking for an excellent guard and may be willing to make a big trade to make that happen depending on the situation.

Matt Hasselbeck QB 5.5S
Jason McCourty CB 5S
Steve Hutchinson G 5S
Nate Washington WR 4S
Eugene Amano C 4S
Michael Griffin FS 3.5S
Craig Stevens TE 2.5S
Terrence McGee CB 2S
Lavelle Hawkins WR 2S
Jordan Babineaux SS 1.5S
Kenny Britt WR 1.5S

Players I would trade. Some would require a really nice deal for me to trade them.

If I was a GM looking for a QB and staring down the barrel of this draft I would trade for Alex Smith or even Matt Flynn.
I would agree...not just because I am attempting to trade Flynn...My asking price has lowered so if you are interested send a PM
