Oh my goodness. No way did I just make that mistake. Sorry. Just corrected it. I have no idea where my mind was at the time.

Nice way to play it off. You clearly just tried to trade CIN one of your assistant assistant coaches, most likely by referencing PFF by explaining that this assistant assistant coach compares to Bill Belichick & even outdid Belichick compared to how he was as an assistant coach, as Jenkins got the coffee made in 2.1secs, whereas it took Belichick 3secs. Michael Jenkins also helped to give up less TDs by filming other practices more secretly, for a PFF assistant assistant coach rating of +10.2.

Hahaha. I changed it to helped give up less TDs by filming practices, but yes, that's true. I need to get my subscription.

Ha. Nicely put. You definitely got me there. The subscription is helpful, for sure. At least for the common stats that are almost impossible to find for some reason.

I see New Orleans is still accumulating 4-3 DEs for their 3-4 front. Why even pretend to be a 3-4?
Actually, Morgan will be featured in Nickle packages, which will involve a four man front. I'll likely be installing a NASCAR package similar to that of the Giants on obvious passing downs. It will consist of Graham, Morgan, Fairley and Dunlap, in that order.

Fair trade. Junior is an underrated pass rusher and Danario when healthy is good but that is a big if.
Truth loves Danario. I suspect he's his agent. That's why he has that subscription to PFF. He uses it to get all his clients big deals. He probably brokered the Ellerbe deal with Miami.

I think so as well. Galette was a terrific pass rusher in a limited time, and is supposed to be a building block in the Saints new 3-4 scheme. What I'm personally excited about is Shareece Wright. I liked him during his USC days, and he was arguably San Diego's best CB in 2012, giving up just 50% of his targets and a QB rating of 62.0 on the season. With his ability in man coverage, I'd be free in moving McCourty to FS and Kenny Phillips back to SS, with Adrian Wilson filling in on running downs and shifting down to LB on obvious passing downs.

lol That I do. And I don't know what you're talking about regarding Ellerbe. My clien...I mean Ellerbe earned his contract by his own ability.

Shareece was another of my Broncos. I am saddened by his becoming a Saint.

Oh, you know, just figured that if I was going for an overkill, I might as well go for the jugular.

I put the "D" in Denver that year.

Why the hoarding of so many receivers, though?

I just felt that the acquisition of Derrick Morgan was in large part responsible for the move. I ran a brief simulation with the players I had on the defensive side of the ball to have a clearer picture of where each player will be in the different fronts. What I've found is that in every scheme, I was forced to leave off several players with significant upside. With that in mind, Galette's name was often left off of the list, as he was penciled in as my 4th or likely 5th outside pass rusher. It would've been a crime with the amount of potential that he showed. It's a terrific problem to have, and I would've certainly held onto him had the opportunity not presented itself. But I just feel like it's easier to incorporate a 4th or 5th WR in your weekly plan. With Colston soon turning 30, I could at least envision Alexander taking over his role in the future. However, with Galette, he'd be among four pass rushers no older than the age of 24. Ultimately, acquiring Wright was what made the decision for me. If that makes any sense at all.

Wright was definately the bwtter part of the deal for the saints. Alexander's skill has never come close to his physical stature, he also has a 10 cent head...honestly I don't think brees would like him. Good thing he is not someone you are counting on.

I couldn't disagree more. How has his skill never come close to his physical stature? His only issue thus far has been his medical. What he's done on the field since his Rookie season has been hard to question. He was arguably the best WR on the Chargers, and would've been on pace to finish with 1169 yards and 12 TDs has he been signed earlier. Obviously it's much more difficult to project season numbers with him given his injury concerns, but he's definitely produced when playing. He's been praised by every QB and teammate that I've seen comment on him thus far, especially Philip Rivers. Also, what do you mean by a 10 cent head?
