The unfairness of it does make sense. But in my opinion, it would only be collusion if Mt. Crushmore asked the other GM to part with his 4th solely due to his lack of activity, of which we have no proof of whatsoever. The term itself is defined as a, "Secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy, esp. in order to cheat or deceive others." The cooperation can't be considered illegal because every GM is allowed to contact other GMs, even if he did have a better access route. And I don't feel that the trade itself cheats other GMs. The Colts GM's inactivity does, as no other team had been able to reach him, but that's an issue with inactivity and not collusion, in my opinion.

4/32 doesnt seem very significant to me but what do I care. And while the latter part of your statement is true youd still need a significant dissent to even put it to a vote.

No managing one team is hard enough let alone two. Besides then trades would be cut in half essentially since we'd obv have to ban trades between teams.

I must take exception to this comment. I am new to this game this yr and I believe I have been at least amongst the top 10 most active owners. I don't know about past yrs but I don't think it would be nearly as fun if one person had multiple teams. That's not really fair at all. I believe a lot of moves would be questioned where one team is benefitting the other.

I made a suggestion a while ago that it should be a requirement to post the state if franchise and depth chart correctly within one week of picking teams before any transactions can be made. If it is not complete by then you give the team to the next person in line. That part is probably the most work involved and would help weed out an owner who wasn't going to be active.
