Says the guy with an Oakland Raiders player in his picture.

At least the raiders made the Super Bowl in the past 10 years
ENOUGH! I know where this is going.......

Oh, and btw, if you ask.... I took Matt Ryan's clutch out of his car to give to Flacco this year.

Says the guy whose team hasn't made the playoffs since that Super Bowl appearance, at least the Lions made the playoffs in 2011.

Ok great playoffs once every 50 years. Raiders had back to back years where they missed by one game. This year they took a step back because they were in cap hell. Expect them to be back in two years after they build threw the draft.

Haha yes, the car exhaust was getting to my head...

We want Suh gone now! But if you're willing to give something reasonable for Stafford, go for it!

Still the same rebuilding Raiders though, my friend. I am sorry.. Not much wiggle room for talking about the Lions.
Dude the lions entire team is first round picks. The raiders personnel doesn't have any because Al Davis traded them all.

Oh please, we all know you want Tebow to make
$$$$$$$$$
I entertained the idea but I want people in those seats to see a winning TEAM not just one player. At least with the guy I'm getting, he was actually pretty decent on a team that was competitive in each of their games.
Atlanta Falcons are interested in a MLB, a DE, and a TE. PM me with any guys you are interested in and guys that you have that could interest me.
Check your PM.

Think about it

Young WR corps
Future Superstar RB
Young TE
Young, Solid D.

But honestly, a Buffalo, or a Raiders, or Chargers are my targets. If Zona works out that Cap thing, I will trade with them.

Despite, my amazing team, I have lined up a different plat at QB.

So much for just picking teams last night, we haven't even finalised rules and everyone has started this already? I can see this running into a shambles.

Before I will do any trades, cuts etc. I have some questions

Do we have RFA and can tender them or is every FA automatically an UFA? If we should have RFA, has anyone a website where we can look up how much each tender would cost? How would we do the bidding for RFA if someone would like to sign a RFA away from another team?

How much does each pick cost by round?
I think last year we had the first round costing two stars, second round 1 star and from there on 0.5 stars for each round

How much cap room do we have?
I read somewhere that we have 127 million in salary cap, is that right? Are we able to carry over cap from last year, and if so is there a specific site which gives exact info on how much cap room each team has with the carryover?
And if we were to cut someone we would save all of his base salary, thats how we did it last year I think

I am sure there are still some unanswered questions, but those are the only ones I came up with now

I feel we should answer all of the unanswered questions before we start with this, and have some kind of rule book

And does someone still have the rules we had last year? In the first post of last years mock draft everything was explained in detail, in my opinion that would help a lot in solving the problems we now have

It sounds like people want to do RFA.

Total draft class is 5.5 stars:
1st: 2
2nd: 1
3-7: 0.5

127 cap and we haven't agreed on a website yet.

Last years first post didn't have the rules in as we didn't have them finished yet either.

First, things, first. We need to agree on a salary cap website. Here are the 3 so far

Ok, I have updated the post so everytime someone says where they prefer, it can be seen.

On SBnation, what number are we going by? Total commitment? Base salary?

I kinda like SB nation since they show you what the base salaries are. If we go by base salary then they have my vote. I think it will be easier to go by base salary since when we cut/trade players, we go by their base not their full salary. It just makes the most sense to me.

Edit: let me make this clear--I am not voting yes to any option yet. I want to clarify whether we are cutting players by base or not. If we are, like it was previously explained to me, then I feel like SB Nation makes the most sense. They include everything.

I would like the salary caps of all teams posted in here when we make a decision so that there will not be any confusion. Thanks.

I also like Spotrac since they break down each salary. If I had to vote right now, it would be Spotrac since it's comprehensive.

MJD is OFF the Trading Block. It is going to have to take an extremely great offer to get him from me.

Gabbert is still available. Must say, I was just reading how the Jags new GM David Caldwell wants to build around Gabbert as their starter. Funny, no mention of Henne. At least I gave Henne the starting job but also told him there would be some competition for him.
Good decision. The jags alrteady have so many holes. Why cvreate another when you have a stud to build around.

I think you should get tebow and run a triple option.

Crush SB Nation got all their info from Spotrac (it says so right before the table at the bottom) so it really should just be the two choices...

What I like about Spotrac is we can go get all our player and team salaries on one site and not need multiple spots...

Thus us just for your total cap right now. I'm still in favor of Rotoworld for player salaries.

just a quick question why? The numbers are identical on spotrac and it provides total cap...why not just use one site to simplify?

Why? I rather like Spotrac. It has the base, bonus & total cap hit all in one comprehensible list. I say just go by Spotrac. It seems easier. I'll give my vote to Spotrac.

This. Why use two websites (one for cap & another for player salary) when we have it all on one website (Spotrac)?

Spotrac.

Also, is there a thread in place to post the team's roster? So I can begin jettisoning my players :P

I would rather we hold off on moving forward a little till we have some of the details worked out...We should really open a voting thread and just go through the pressing needs/structure for this whole week before we start seeing trades, cuts, etc.
It is beginning to get a little out of hand

I had some problems last year with rotoworld, for some players no salary was given. I don't know if those salaries would be given on spotrac, but as I said I had some problems with rotoworld last year
1 trade and 1 cut is all that happened last night other than discussion it's not like everyone just took off and cut all their players or traded everyone so its not a big deal. Also from what I have seen, I could be wrong, the rules were still being developed last year and are still being developed this year and probably will again next year so they will in all likelihood never really be "finalised".

We have two teams remaining left to be picked. With that said, who are the remaining two members who signed up but haven't picked a team yet?
