I'd say that they should cost 0.5 stars each with no penalty to cut. No free selection though.

I'm assuming that the .5 Stars will be the winner, and it's a solid choice. But I just wanted to give a heads up in that there were no penalty cuts for the contracts of .5 Stars as it was, in case anyone was confused regarding the matter.

Kind happy with how I did this off season. I handicapped myself and still came away with a relatively solid and deep team. Even without the handicap I also feel my degree of difficulty was fairly high as I basically lost half my team to FA and even without the cap had no way of resigning everyone. All and all I'm very pleased with how my team turned out.

I will join with this cost proposal since there are no votes for .25 and this is my second favorite option.

3)  In an order but chosen by random numbers (You would PM me your number because I'm not involved and then the order would be based on proximity to the number that was chosen randomly).

If I may, you could also use the random number generator (Link), enter the value between 1 and 8, and generate a number for each team. If the number has already been chosen, then you can regenerate it until an available one appears. The process itself should take no more than two minutes. Just a thought.

That works for me. So 8 people are participating? Just assign the numbers of those 8 based off of the draft order, then go from there. For instance, I am normally #10. Not sure where I fall in this order, but you get the idea.

That was actually what most members were against, going by the original order. Given that the FA period doesn't go by any order, they felt that it wasn't fair to grant the weaker teams the first right of contract outside of the Draft, which I can't at all disagree with.

I don't mean sign players from that order. I mean use those draft position numbers to assign numbers rather than assigning random numbers. The order would still be random when you use whatever tool it is you mentioned. It's just the numbers that would be preset. Does that make sense or do you need an example. Not sure if I'm explaining it right.

Oh, my mistake. That makes sense. And you did explain it right. That's a solid idea as well.

I would never trade Denarius Moore for a fifth, he is the teams best receiver and has already shown he was worth more than the spot he was taken in.

I thought as much. Do me another favor? Please post this in the thread in Ravens Talk titled "Trading for a WR". You'll see it. Some guys think there is a chance they would trade Moore. I firmly believe that's not happening. As a Raiders fan can you help them reclaim their sanity? Thanks.
