Watch out, Chiefs are gonna be the first team to go from worst to first in one offseason!

So is this the place to post players that would be on the trading block?

It's not all been confirmed yet, but I got in first with the Cards.

Lot of young, terrific, core talents on every level of the defense in Patrick Peterson, Daryl Washington and Calais Campbell.

Important Question:

Are we doing RFA? Personally I think we should.

It wouldnt be difficult, and would add some extra fun. All we need is a deadline to assign tenders, a 24hr period for others to make offers, and then the original team can decide if it wants the pick or the player at that price.

Once you figure it all out, the first post needs to be updated with the full set of rules for the mock draft. Much like arnie did on the first page of the Ideas/Thoughts thread.

What's CC's bonus this year?... From what I remember it's pretty hefty.

Will there be a post containing all of the final official rules as there has been a lot of discussion about certain aspects and it seems like a final decision on all of these should be made with the entire rules together including an official website that will be used to determine all the salaries...hopefully I am not the only one who is a bit cloudy on all the rules.

I already know what I want to do with the Bears, and I'll say it for Jay Cutler. Cutler is an ELITE Quarterback!

Ok, I pinned the Team Selection Thread for the rest of the people not here.

Is there a deadline for us to announce who we put the Franchise Tag on?

That is not accurate, because it is just cap space which includes carryover. We need to wait until a site comes out with each team's actual spending against the cap. It might require everyone to do a little research on their own team.

Edit: I guess we can figure it out by taking the cap (121) - capspace listed (x) + carryover listed (x)

That would give us the amount each team has allocated against the 2013 cap.

I.E.Baltimore: 121 - 15.7 +1.2 = 106.6

127 - 106.6 = 20.5 stars

You all are picking a very bad time to trade your starting quarterbacks since there are no good ones in the draft.
Since none of them have played a down in the NFL I don't think you can accurately atest to how good or bad the draft class for QB's is this year.

He and Washington have big bonuses (both $10 Million, but they have relatively low base salaries) that I'm assuming already count against the cap.

Kolb is getting 11 mill and Bradley (the ILB) is getting 5. They're both gone.

Andy Dalton and Andrew Whitworth are on the block for any team looking for a Franchise QB and LT **cough** Cardinals **cough**
Why on earth would you want to trade Whitworth? He is one of the best LTs at a bargain price.
