"As a player, I have a long ways to go," Smith said. "I'll never be satisfied. I'll never get complacent. I'm going to work my tail off and have the best offseason I've ever had. That's how I approach it every year. When I reach where I want to be, the league is going to be in trouble."

I love this guy. Love the way he thinks and plays. Hopefully his production keeps increasing and he's with the Ravens for a long time.
Man, just had the Superbowl and I'm sitting here anxious for next season to start already. I think it's finally, fully sinking in that the Ravens really won the Superbowl. Holy crap.

With guys like Torrey, Joe, Ray, Pitta, Yanda and Oher leading this offense you gotta believe these guy will continue to work hard. All of these guy are said to be extremely hard workers and lead by example type guys. I don't thing winning the Super Bowl and the new found fame most of these guys will get, will keep them from working hard.
The scary thing about Torrey to me is, not only is he just scratching the surface, but so is his QB. This guy has already experienced what it's like to have teams treat you like the #1WR and try to take you away with double, yet still take over games. He and Flacco will have a connection that leaves people amazed that they even attempted that play

"Bring it. They want physical. They want to run against us. You know we'll be there."

Torrey is turning into one of my favorite players. He could very easily become a top 3 WR in the league. He's made some crazy plays, and I can't wait to see what he does next.
Same here. That 2nd TD catch he made in the Denver game, where he overcomes his momentum, pulls back and makes that catch overtop of Champ Bailey is burned into my brain. How effortless he made that look. Like poetry in motion.

I agree with two of them, but I'm not sure Larry Fitz will be the best statistically ever again.Yea. Julio, Megatron and Fitz (with a QB) will always be better statistically because of the offenses they play in and their freak physical tools but Torrey can easily mold himself into Roddy White 2.0 and close 3rd.

It's an easy thing to doubt it's just hard for me to count him out when we've seen what he can do with a halfway decent quarterback.

This is true. I also love Torrey. Resistance is futile.

I suppose, hopefully with Arians they can get him the ball more. It's an easy thing to doubt it's just hard for me to count him out when we've seen what he can do with a halfway decent quarterback.

I tell you one thing, if somehow Alex Smith ends up in Arizona and gives Fitz that QB he has needed, the NFC West better watch out. Although Jimbaugh sounded like he's planning on trying to force Smith to stay as backup. Which is probably pretty smart when you have a QB who likes to leave the pocket all the time.

That would be horrible for Alex. I like Jimbaugh less and less every day. At least trade the guy and give him a chance to do what he loves. Awful. To think there was a time when it was debatable who was the better Harbaugh. Unreal. Although the terror of the NFC west for the foreseeable future will be the Hawks, that division is going to be almost identical to the AFC North in the years to come from a competition/style of play standpoint.

There's no way you can call the NFC West the NFC Worst anymore. Being out here in/near Seattle for the last 17 years, I've gotten to watch the Seahawks go through the rebuild phase a few times. This time they got it right. This team is the real deal. If they begin to play on the road the way they play at home, the power shift in the NFC is going to be profound.
