Does this creep you guys out?

I only took threads that were made after february 3rd, and left out topics threads that had discussion about both 49ers/Ravens or another team. They have 10 more past month, but I didn't bother digging them out.

Half of them (im being gracious) are all baseless accusation and whining like sore losers. It's incredible how much they talk about us. This is about +25 threads about Ravens...all within under a week....and all of these threads are from just one FORUM

When I was walking on campus, today (Keep in mind that I go to school in Massachusetts.), I (over)heard the phrase "Patriot Killer" from these 2 guys. I like blaming the refs when they and the Colts were just beat soundly. No calls, just beat down. No mention of their clock trouble last year and the down markers being wrong. Or Moore holding Pitta. I hate the damn Patriots and their fans. Ravens are SB Champs, no video taping or tuck rule...

It actually kinda is creepy and funny at the same time. It's not like we're division rivals.

We probably had a few Patriots threads after the loss. Targets been set. Every team the Ravens see often will have fans making thread, especially with the no call at the end. My theory is iust beat teams up next season so it can't be decided by refs. Don't let off the gas.

It makes sense, we're the Superbowl champs which means that all fans are gonna talk about us a little bit. Their team obviously is a contender every year and whether they admit it or not, they see us as a huge obstacle in a conference with not that many great teams. But as Whil Wheaton whould say, we are living rent-free right here (in their heads).

Reading some more through that "Congrats thread" - Wow @the hate (and stupidity). There clearly is a lack of objectivity there in that particular forum (fanbase maybe)? (Which I'm sure occurs at this and other Ravens forums too)

I don't like Brady because he whines - but I can recognise that he's probably one of the best to play the game, maybe just a notch below Joe M. of all time QBs. And I sure hate losing to the Pats; but sometimes, people can take it too far.

There is pride I take in being able to respect another team and players and appreciate that funnily enough; other teams may have talented players that may be good human beings too!

I would certainly hate to look like the majority of that forum's posters And if I ever do, I would wish someone would kindly redirect me to this post.

Take comments sections for example - are people really that stupid/vitirolic/and ignorant of facts; devoid of civility and are plain and simple; just apes-like?

I understand it's the internet - but why can't you carry yourself as you would in normal life? The internet is, by all purposes, just a different means of carrying yourself.

LOVE rivalries, especially in sports; but It sucks and enrages me to see ignorance of that nature.
