You know what's funny? Other than the dozens of people on nfl.com bashing the Ravens and Joe for an OBVIOUS joke? If you haven't read any then you owe it to yourself. Some of it is pretty funny. But what is even funnier is that whoever wrote the article didnt even have the you know what to even put their name on the article! If you are ready to start something, own up to it I say!

I'm convinced that this whole world has gone crazy, because you simply can not say anything without someone taking offense to it. It was a JOKE people. I guarantee you all people did was read it on an article and didn't watch the video to see how BADLY it was taken out of context.

What's next, people are going to take Joe saying "I get a car?" out of context by saying he means he wants a better car or he doesn't like the manufacture, etc.

Is this even a story? The interesting thing is, i keep hearing people say Flacco would have costed his team the game because it,d be a automatic TD awarded to SF.

Newsflash, if Ginn breaks it as Joe says, they win anyway. This was much to do about nothing. Hell i even thought about it as a fan. I thought the penalty would be just one untimed down.

I think it's one of those funny moments that usually only teammates share, but Flacco was miked

Joe would tackle the punt returner. He would run out on the field and tackle the punt returner to stop a TD if the returner broke through the coverage team.

Its an interesting notion. But I do think the other team could be awarded a TD anyways. But it couldn't hurt. It won't go over very well with the majority of people.

In a situation like that, the refs also have the option to eject the offending player, and I'm fairly certain that trying it in a Super Bowl would get Flacco ejected.

One of the things I love most about Joe. So dry that many commentators, full of self-importance, don't know how to take it. It's hilarious to see these guys pull Joe's tongue-in-cheek comments out of context in an attempt to stir up controversy.

On the last play of the game. Obviously the Ravens were up by only 3 points and had Ginn broke free on the punt return it'd be a TD and the Ravens would lose.

Flacco sugguested that someone should go tackle Ginn if he breaks free and keep him from a TD that would obviously win the game. Flacco never laughed so some question if it was a joke. However to me it was one of those I dare you type joke..

Imo if Flacco was serious, i think he would have recruited someone faster then Matt Birk. Lol it was something Flacco clearly had no intention of doing himself.

Doesn't matter what he said - the fact is all kinds of things are said on the sidelines that nobody ever hears. What I'm more curious about is why that particular statement. I happen to notice that any time something poor can be written about Joe, it is. At the end of the day, he was just talking, nothing happened, we are Superbowl champions, and by the start of next season nobody will remember any of this.

BTW this talk happens in the NFL all season long! So why is this now a "big thing" for some NFL guys and fans from other teams?
