Major Factors:
-Lewis and Birk retire
-Kruger and Cary Williams walk
-Reed and McKinnie are kept with short-term deals
-Flacco and Ellerbe sign long-term deals
-RFAs retained

Draft (Rounds 1-4):
1. Trade Back (early/mid 2 and 3)
2a. Trade Back (two 3rds)
2b. Trade Back (mid 3 and 4)
3a. Da’Rick Rogers | WR | Tennessee-Tech
3b. David Amerson | CB/S | N.C. State
3c. Brandon Williams | NT | Missouri Southern
3d. Kyle Long | OT | Oregon
3e. Brandon Jenkins | OLB | Florida State
3f. Kevin Reddick | ILB | North Carolina
4a & 4b. Trade Up (3rd)
Comp: Tyrann Mathieu | CB | LSU

I know it's quite far-fetched and it won't happen, but would any of you be satisfied with a draft philosophy like this one in April?... no one "elite," but a handful of solid prospects that could make an impact in the near future?

I'm just having some fun thinking outside the box... opinions are welcomed.

Personally Im not a fan of Long, Jenkins, or Reddick and I think Amerson will be gone in the mid 2nd.

I don't know if we would have enough cap space to sign everybody lol.

I would love coming out of the draft with Mathieu. I wouldn't mind us drafting Reddick in this situation with a really late 3rd even though he's not really worth one imo. After watching more of him, he's starting to grow on to me. I love his pass rushing skills. I like Rodgers but he won't be there in the 3rd.

I am not a fan of that many trade backs. The players seem like they would be decent pick-ups but outside of Williams and maybe Long not of them would be immediately impactul. I would rather trade back into the 2nd and use the additional pick(s) to move back up and get 3 2nd round picks. The caliber of player could then be something like Arthur Brown (although I think we should take him in the first), Datone Jones, and Tony Jefferson. Those are all guys that could come in and play for us immediately.

I like Jefferson, he could end up the best safety in the draft.

I'd actually like for us to trade up this year, pending there's talent available of course. We're in line for 10 or 11 picks with compensatory selections. I just have a good feeling that some talent will fall, just not to 32.

I actually agree with this. I wouldn't mind a trade up if the right player fell in the right place. That's for sure. Julio Jones is a top 2 WR in the NFL and I'm sure the Falcons are thrilled they made the move. I don't mean a move like that.. but trading up for the right guy can get you a game changer like Julio or Gronk.

I really don't like this draft. Offseason is good except I disagree in a few areas. I think Birk might be back. Got this crazy feeling that says he returns. Also, I think some of our RFAs are not tendered but are given vet minimum deals or walk. Such candidates include Reed, Harewood, Cox. I think Reed is brought back on a vet minimum deals--same for Cox. I don't see how you can tender Reed or Cox at 1.232M and give Jones & Dickson a 2nd round tender & Pitta a 1st round tender. Too much money. Even if Dickson gets an original round tender of a 3rd that's still some good money.

As for your draft, I like some of those players but I don't see anyone I love except Jenkins, Mathieu, & Williams. Even then, I think the Ravens get a guy later in the draft as a NT than take one early.

Reminds me of a patriots 10 and 11 drafts. At some point you are just outsmarting yourself and come away with no impact players. Its. A big reason the pats d has. Been so bad
