Gates has slowed down in a bad way.

Tony G if he's true to his word, is finished; though if he's not then he is still top 5.
He's not what he used but he still gives LBs as well as safeties more trouble than most TEs. Hi sstats would have been better had SD's overal offensive struggles.

I disagree..

Witten
Gronk
Graham
Davis
Pitta
Pettigrew, Heath Miller?

People over rate our players. When Pittas contract is up all we're going to hear is he can't block. (which he's improved at but is still not excellent)

Witten, Bennett and Miller are all more complete players than Pitta. And Hernandez, Cook, Gates, Gonzalez, Finley, Olsen, Rudoplh all are more dynamic pass-catchrs. Regardless, I love what Pitta brings to the team.

Pitta is a really solid starter though. But not really a dynamic mismatch.

Can't we all just agree that Pitta is one of the better TEs in the NFL

Gronk,Hernandez,Graham
Miller,Witten
V Davis,Rudolph,Pitta,Gates,Cook.

That's how I see it. Based off of right now, this very second, and going into next year... Gonzo would obviously be up there but Idk if he retires or not.

Jacoby already has a nickname. It's Dragonfly.
What about Torrey? Or is his nickname just Torrey, bc his real name is Jimmy?

Well, he's a very good player. But there's so many TEs in the league that are good it's fun to rank them.

That play action throw on the superbowl? What a throw. What a catch. What a game.

If Tony isn't I'd like to sign him to some cheap deal & have Flacco throw him the ball & maybe finally help him win that ring he's been chasing.
Torrey doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would go by a nickname. He usually just keeps his head down and plays hard. Doesn't play with a lot of swagger like Jacoby.

Jacoby addresses himself as Dragonfly. The day Torrey addresses himself by a nickname will be the day I start doing it haha

He who underestimates his opponents will always lose. That's half the reason we won the Super Bowl, we were constantly overlooked. This is also the reason the Patriots went 18-1. Let's not get cocky.
You must not have watched any packers games this year because Finley was an absolute joke of a TE he dropped sooooo many passes it made you feel bad for Aaron Rodgers at some points. Gonzalez retired. Bennett is questionable. Gates is nearing the end.

My top 10 TE's would look like this:
Gronk
Graham
Witten
Davis
Hernandez
Cook
Rudolph
Miller
Olsen
Pitta
I can get behind that list.

But to be clear, to be a top 10 at a position like TE is really impressive.
Ya there are a few guys who could compete for the last couple spots on the list like Pettigrew, other Miller, Bennett, Gates, and some of the up n comers like Dwayne Allen.

Pettigrew and miller would probably take it. They're vets though. Pitta is still improving.

I know Finley struggled but that doesn't change the fact he's capable of making spectacular plays as a TE. Bennett is definitely more dynamic than Pitta and is one of the better blocking TEs in the league. Gates isn't that close to the end; he can still make plays.

I do not want to dampen anyone's enthusiasm but all this dynasty talk is premature. Relish the moment. It was a storybook finish to a remarkable career. It will be interesting to see who fills the void left by Ray. Leadership is an intangible that is hard to measure by mere metrics. Undoubtedly, Ray's presence during the playoff run was indispensible and got us over the hump. It was an incredible run and will be remembered forever in the hearts of Ravens fans. It is good to have all of the Flacco haters chewing on their cuds for a moment while we celebrate Joe's eliteness. I hope the crow you had to eat was tasty. When a greedy group of gold-digging Niners met an Unkindness or Conspiracy or Constable of Ravens in the Super Bowl, the result was fairly predictable. In the final analysis, the spirituality of this team carried it across the finish line. Kudos to all 53 players plus coaches and thanks for the memories! The parade and stadium celebration were great!!

You know why I think we can repeat? The organization's already turned the page. They're not even saying they are the champions but WERE the champions. They acknowledge that they are no longer the champions, but only the previous champion (most recent). I think this is underplayed.

I think preparation is a big thing & a big part of what made us successful. I see us being just as prepared, and I think our chance to repeat is pretty good.
