No, his salary is at $7.7 million for this year which means the Raiders will either cut him or sign him to an extension that saves some cap room because they are in a bad cap situation. Nobody would take on his cap hit, especially when they see he has a high possibility of being cut.

Mt. Crushmore always makes about a million posts in a minute.

You no longer make a million posts a minute. You make a million trades a minute now....

That would be the dumbest move in Ravens history. Why the hell would you want the 1 trick pony himself Heyward-Bey? He is fast...THATS IT and if he breaks his fingernail and he goes out for the season. No where near worthy of a 3rd round pick.

Lee Evans was a good pick up just not healthy. I think if he was healthy and got to play all year, youd get a different result. FWIW I loved him when he was in buffalo.

Leave Lee out of this. He had instant chemistry and he was leading all receivers throughout the preseason. Then he got that foot injury and that's all they wrote.

As per the topic of the thread, DHB was a mistake in the 1st round and would be a mistake if we pursued him now. Besides, he doesn't fill the role that a player like Anquan fills. We don't need three speed receivers The key to an effective offense is balance. If we become one dimensional we become easy to defend.

3rd round, no. Pick up when he is cut, possibly.

We have Torrey and Jacoby. It feels great to say it, but that's enough speed for our offense. If we have to replace Boldin, God forbid, we need someone who is sure-handed.

I actually liked lee evans too...what did we trade a 4th or 5th rounder for him, not much. He looked great in pre-season, the thing I hated was that during the pre-season matchup with the Redskins he got injured and walked off the field, and was plagued by that same injury all year. No one ever said what he did but that it was a foot injury, the mystery behind that injury angered me haha. It must have been broken because he hardly ever played. And of coarse the infamous dropped/contested TD in AFC Championship

I know. At the moment when we traded for him I was all in. I thought it was a great trade. We needed the speed and he was a better (more complete) receiver than Stallworth, and only for a 4th pick.

I guess I just thought that I could make a joke about his "drop" when we won the Superbowl. I guess the negs suggest that isn't the case. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but sarcasm is kinda difficult to express through written text.
