U Mad Bro?

Seriously, all these morons trying to pile in and say we aren't that good, it's ridiculous.

All I've done since we won is celebrate and troll everyone that was backing the 49ers, since they were pretty much all obnoxious (2 that HAVEN'T been are Steelers fans, the hell?).

Jeez. The hate train is going full speed ahead. All Pryce said was that Ray wasn't up to his usual standards for this year(he wasn't), and that it might have been because Ray was nervous. That isn't some controversial statement. Ray didn't play well during the Superbowl, and Pryce's opinion is just as valid as anyone else's unless Ray tells us that he wasn't nervous.

Of course Ray struggled, but I don't think thats what this is about.

Sounds like bitter talk from a has been who is jealous that he didn't get a last hurrah.

For the hockey fans out there. This is Ray's response to the whiney Pryce. Ray Ray is Roy and just insert Pryce's name instead of Roenick's.

Sorry, had to bring this up again. Pryce played in 14 postseason games and totaled 3 sacks... 3! Sounds like he has a lot more checks to return than Ray...

It was an unfortunate comment, which made a large man look small. How many of his (Trevor's) paychecks did he owe to Ray?
Notwithstanding the above, props are due to Dannell Ellerbe.

To be honest I don't have a problem with anything said , Ellerbe is an unsung hero on defense with his coverage skills, speed and blitz timing ellerbe had a great regular season was missed greatly while injured and had a good playoff run as well.

On nfl turning point Ray Lewis tells Ellerbe and Cary they are targeting him with V.Davis & Crabtree running drags across the middle ( which was obvious before the game ever started lol).

Only thing I get from Pryce is him saying Ray was nervous had last game jitters, which I'm sure is true and I bet trying to cover Crabtree and Davis didn't help matters. Even if it was considered a diss for saying Ray had yibs and he isn't the Ray of Old. He then turned around and said Ray can't be measured just by his play because he means so much to the team.
Talking about only taking one part of an article, I thought Trevor Pryce had lost it the way Terry Bradshaw did a week ago lol.

That's kind of unfair, Trevor Pryce spent a early part of his career as a DT then he began to play DE and rotate to DT , while he did excel at getting sacks during the regular season, its not a norm to have a DT that gets sacks all the time and can transition to DE. He faced plenty of double teams in his day. Just because he didn't get playoff sacks does not mean he didn't have an impact on those playoff games. He played the run great too.

I dunno it makes me think about how Skip Bayless said Suggs didn't show up because he didn't get a sack as if the trench war battles mean nothing simply because its not a statistic outside of detailed pro-football focus studies lol.

Perhaps. And I'm starting to think that what he said came out wrong and not what he really meant. He's been defending Ray on twitter saying the alternative to Ray being nervous was being 'old and slow' and he doesn't think that at all.

You mean Pryce that had a hand shake agreement to come back an bolted to the Jets? That Traitor Pryce?
Lol that's funny. Now I was mad when he was cut because I knew he would get signed quickly regardless of Chris mortenson saying he would be resigned later in the week or the next week. But to call a handshake an agreement between a player and an organization when written contracts are broken daily by organizations for various reasons. At that time plenty of guys wanted to play for Rex again over Mattison lol

Once I read the final part it seemed like he didn't mean anything harmful. Kind of like when Ed Reed made comments last year about Flacco then media started playing a snippet of it and saying oh Ed reed thinks Flacco got rattle he doesn't trust him at all blah blah blah. But they never play entire interview or any other comments where Ed reed supported Flacco and the offense. Lol.

I think Pryce just wanted to highlight that Ray didn't have a Ray type of game for this playoff run and Ellerbe stood out as a difference maker in the game to him. I just hope others don't follow Pryce and start giving ellerbe props lol I want him to stay under wraps so that we don't lose him to a bidding war as well.

Obviously Pryce might be a little jealous, but i think he also made the comment to get noticed a little. Despite all that, as a player, the guy imo was far from a "nobody" as some of you claim. He was instantly one of my favorite players half way into his first season with us. He was a pro bowler on the broncos, but he was the best 34 DE we ever had aside from Ngata. But he was overshadowed by the all pro LBs and DBs we had at the time. Obviously a bad attitude, and i know nothing about his personality, but lets not kid ourselves, he was a good player.
