The "Guess the 2013 Home Opener" thread

My guess is Pittsburgh. It's them or New England, and they'll probably save New England for MNF some other week. Last year the Giants got the Cowboys when they would've gotten Green Bay or San Fran. Divisional rivals get the nod. Scheduling someone like the Jets or Texans would just be mean to them. It has to be a heated rival. NE or Pitt are our only realistic options. CIncy is out because we played them week 1 last year.

Hell I'd be down for a opening night thrumping of the Jets. A good way to start the season off right.

Not the Texans, they let the NFL down by not doing better in the playoffs, so would not have a big enough audience draw I think. At first glance I would say no to the Steelers, because we played them just last year in our opener, but that is a cash cow game, so chances are good. NE, maybe, its normally a good game, just doesn't feel right. The NFL might not want to embarrass the Pats again so early in the year. Green Bay is probably the best choice of them all. It is a well liked team and the Ravens are the SB champs so it might have a big audience.
