I know we are all celebrating our great Superbowl victory but is anyone worried about Ngata's knee? We don't know anything about the extent of the injury and probably won't for at least a few days but I can't be the only one who is thinking about it during this time of celebration...

Heard "sprain" last night, but have no secondary confirmation.

I believe I heard he was going to have surgery after the game, and that was before the game.

I'm really getting worried about Ngata's long-term health & future here in Baltimore. I love Ngata, but he's been banged up for the past two years now. On top of him saying he might have to retire early, I think there's a distinct possibility this could be a problem for us going forward. I know Ngata's a potential restructure, but his injuries are mounting and I am afraid of restructuring him.

Heal it up..and get back to training, he was a MAJOR disappointment this year.
I love the big guy, and thats why ive been soo critical. He needs to find a way to geth healthy or we've already seen the best of Haloti Ngata.

Let me get into my best Christian Bale Batman voice: "We haven't seen the best of Haloti Ngata...Not yet." I'm worried too because I remember this being a problem with Kelly Gregg, but I think Ngata takes conditioning more seriously. He didn't disappoint me in the games this year. He helped contain Capricorn and whenever he got his mits around a running back in Denver and NE, they weren't going anywhere. But it is something to worry about. Right now, I'm in celebratory mode.

Just saw a report that he's been jogging after the game. Great news.

Now rest up and get ready for another run.

This is one that has me worried. Not about the actual knee injury, but you listen to how Ngata was talking leading up to the game I wonder how much longer he'll want to play. He was talking about injury and family and wanting to live a healthy life after football and being their for his kids (TOTALLY understandable). Now he has a SB ring (the dream of every guy who plays).

I would not be totally surprised if he decides not to come back. I just have a weird feeling on this one.

He had an mcl sprain in the beginning of the season, and continued playing. I suspect it's that same knee that's bothering him. Concerned!

I hope physically he is okay, but I'm more worried about him mentally. I don't have a link to it, but I recall him saying recently he was unsure about his future in the NFL. It came after someone asked him about Jr. Seau's suicide.

He was walking so that's a good sign. They said it was a knee sprain. He has the entire off-season to recover.
