Bernard Pollard, I expected MORE

154 posts in this topic

I don't know...he always seems to have his finger pointed in somebody's face...like a referee's all the time.

I watched the Denver playoff game the other night and after a fumble that we recover, he runs in to the pile late to pull up a Raven and the ref says something to him and out comes the deadly finger threat . Who could forget the moment against the Giants or Colts...can't remember. But somebody said something to him that was out of bounds and he got the 15 yard penalty. I don't know if he's Mr Total Nice Guy...and I'm not in the locker room - I don't trust any media stories or hype from anywhere. But from the looks of it, he's no Barry Sanders or Reggie White

Ok, but you were never on the field with him either. There are reasons that Pollard is not on the team anymore while still costing us 2.5 million against the cap. You know no more about him than the people saying that the rumors are true. There is a very good chance that his sportsmanship on the field and how he got along with players and coaches is a big part of the reason he is no longer on the field.

Not sure about that...we will be left to speculate. He signed an extension and normally, you don't get an extension to only get cut a year later. I don't think a guy's sportsmanship changes drastically in the span of a year.

The rumors aren't true. Pollard is a stand up guy and don't let the classless writers at the Baltimore Sun poison your mind with that crap. Bad attitude? You can't have all saints with no sinners on a team. He was our leading tackler. But I agree, Pollard was bad in coverage where Ed was best at, and Pollard was best at what Reed was worst at. If they were one player they would either be the best safety for us...or the worst lol

since when have you been a Baltimore Raven player? You have apparently been in the locker room so I'm curious

Does the guy seem like a bad teammate? The dude is constantly just talking up his teammates, taking pictures and having fun. Mike Preston hasn't been in the lockerroom either and since he hasn't named a player who said Pollard is a locker room cancer, I'll go with my gut on this one.

Yeah. People just seem to favor the most dramatic, juicy TMZ story over how a player has been while he was here being a stand up guy in the city and on his radio show. From that alone I have not witnessed anything that would say he is a bad teammate. Ozzie wouldn't extend a locker room cancer like you said. Mike Preston...lol Mike Preston is who these people would rather listen to.
