Even with losing Cary, Our CB's for next year is pretty sweet. Webb will return to #1 and I think to start the season Corey will be our #2. Jimmy will once again start the season at #3, Chykie Brown at #4, and either Asa Jackson or some FA/Draft Pick be the #5 and #6

This is exactly right. I think the ravens will offer williams a contract but there are too many teams desperate for a corner. I would be extatic if jimmy could play at least 8 straight games as the corner#3. I feel it takes 3 yrs of nfl experience to really be at the top of your game as a corner and a wideout. It will also help if the pass rush is improved through the year to let the corners play more press bump and run.

weird how I said he was a bust 2 weeks ago not any more

Prime example not to overreact. Hopeflly people will remember how people like kruger, ellerbee and smith have turned their play around before they start calling for us to cut/trade/etc 'busts' like cody, dickson and oher.

I don't even see them offering him a deal. Cary can be replaced at #2 CB by Graham easily. We need the cap space for the Flacco deal, Ellerbe, Pitta, AND Reed

Hopefully he can stay healthy so he can have the chance to improve.

Mad love for Jimmy stepping it up. I called it right before the game that he'd be the one, that gut feeling was right all day yesterday!

If he can stay on the field for a full season, I think he can really turn into a great corner. He's had his struggles last year, and earlier this season. But, Cary started out being consistently picked on this year, and got better and better as the year went on. I think Jimmy can do the same thing next year, barring injury.
His size would be a real asset for us with smaller corners in Webb and Graham, especially if we can't bring back Cary Williams.
By the way, I'm starting to think Cary won't be as good on another team. He showed again last night that he's a bit of a hot head. A team without the leadership of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed might not be able to keep his head in the game. I have confidence in him here, and would love to see him return, as long as it doesn't come at the cost of other needed free agents.
Having a healthy Webb, a healthy Smith, Williams, and Graham, with Chykie Brown still there, as well, really sounds like a loaded group.

It was just beautiful to see him knock the ball loose on Crabtree then the play after, just plain out-physical him. Very proud of Jimmy. Extremely happy for the dude.
