It certainly wasn't great the way our momentum was killed by that power outage. I honestly believe we would have ran away with the game had that not happened. But regardless, we won, and in the end that's all that matters. I get tired of all this "elite" talk, but Joe has earned some praise, that's for sure. And that's coming from one of his biggest critics over these last 5 years. He even sucked at points in the regular season, but he went on a tear in the playoffs, and that's what counts. He helped us win a Super Bowl, so for that he'll always be thanked.

Ray goes out the way few have ever been able to. Ed finally has a ring, as do Suggs and Ngata. I honestly hope Ed is just BSing people, and will decide to retire and heal up, get that neck surgery he needs and enjoy his life now that he has a ring. He has nothing left to accomplish, and I'd HATE to see him ever play for another team. But again, beyond all of those messy details, tonight, the Baltimore Ravens are Super Bowl Champions.

And that's something that no one and nothing can take way from us/them.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

3 points:
1. Pay the man!, Don't let this Superbowl winning QB get away or jerk him around with a franchise tag. He carried the team through the playoffs period.
2. Jimmy Smith. When it mattered the most, that kid stepped up big time. If he doesn't make those 2 plays everything else is moot. Refs can't hand the 49ers the game on an uncatchable pass.
3. If not for power outage this may not have been close, but KAP is a beast and 49ers have my utmost respect.

It was so obvious through the media coverage these past few weeks that SF was the favored team. And as usual, we were favored by most to lose. I think one of the greatest things is that we were favored to lose throughout the entire postseason and made it happen time and time again. Man this feels good.

All Hail the Super Bowl XLVII Champions……THE MIGHTY MEN OF THE BALTIMORE RAVENS!!!

Much love and respect to the San Francisco 49ers!!

That was an amazingly epically ugly win but it is apropos because that is how we won all season for the most part. I am so happy and proud for MY Team, MY City, the entire Ravens’ organization and all the Fans!!! We have reached our Goal, completed our Mission and most importantly honored GOD through it all!!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!

Almost nothing in the world feels better than to see and hear that the Baltimore Ravens are world champions! It's unbeliveable how much we've had to overcome to not only get to the SB, but even in the game! Joe Flacco FINNALY, finnaly getting all the accolates he deserves. The front office being nothing but 1st clas the whole time, and putting this championship team together for us.

I am so proud of my Ravens, this city and for Ray Lewis. Nothing can be said about the man now.

The silence is golden!

Best part, was seeing O.J. Brigance be able to celebrate the Superbowl with the Ravens, one last time. Hopefully he lives longer than his expected 5 years, Losing Ray is hard enough on the organization, The Soul of the Ravens, losing O.J will be the dagger to the heart. Just glad he could make it with them down to N.O.L.A.

Words can not describe how I felt last night and how I'm still feeling. I fell asleep with a grin on my face and woke up with a grin on my face.

To see Mr. B and Big Ray and Joe with the trophy in their hands...and to see Coach John acknowledge and give love to Juice....to see the photos of the guys making angels in the confetti...oh golly my eyes are getting damp all over again.

What an amazing ride it's been. PROUD member of Ravens Nation and PROUD to rep the Ravens out here in Colts country. Thank you to the entire organization from Mr. B on down!!! LOVE YOU, GENTLEMEN!!! Just wish I could be in Baltimore to welcome you home!!!

It is fitting it ends with a thunderous applause. This team will look significantly different next season, but what a way to end it.

Manning and Brady can feel better now that they know, they lost to the Best, NFL Champions.

Way to go Flacco, maybe this will put all this elite crap to rest. They said you can't be elite without the Ring, well in your face, He's got the ring and the MVP. Joe, you are elite in my book. Congradulations and THANK YOU !!

haha... You're right about that. There was no audio on the CBS football wieners as the confetti came down on the Ravens. But I could hear them rending their garments! They were so in the tank for the 49ers.

Congrats Ravens! Now, for Ozzie to work his magic and keep the team in position to defend the title next season. No more Sundays for a while, but I look forward to seeing how the next few weeks unfold.

I went to sleep at 6 AM and I am back up to trolling every conceivable NFL site at 9 AM. That is what winning a SB does for Ravens' fans! Go Ravens.

As a favor, can each of you go to every site and make sure you call out Lamarr'Fat' Woodley, Pete 'hater' Prisco, Jamie 'Buck Teeth' Dukes, Skip 'obnoxious' Bayless and Ashley Fox and Heath 'no neck' Evans please????? Rip into them like they ripped into Joe Flacco and the Ravens! Sometimes, we need to be patient with these moronic types before we lay into them!

What a TEAM win - and a team driven run through the playoffs to the promised land. I could start to list contributions, but it would take a full page. I'm going to do this in pieces.

Coach Harbaugh (John, of course) - He sets the tone. The moves he made I feel were designed to place greater trust into his veteran team. He's done a remarkable job though his 5 years here and they way he conducted the end of the season was nothing short of fantastic

Joe Flacco - What else can be said? No one since Montana has had a run like that in the postseason, so talk about rising to the occasion. Is he elite? Please, debate that all you want, but one thing we know his is: A WINNER

Anquan Boldin - Talk about a receiver who refuses to be denied. After a season last year that was lost by a receiver being soft when pulling down a catch, Boldin was the epitome of the physical receiver that wouldn't allow a ball to be broken up. I've heard talk about clearing cap space by letting him go next year. I'd think twice before making that move.

Jacoby Jones - Replaces a receiver that provides nothing but a bitter memory with some of the most memorable plays in our post-season history. He had a Desmond Howard kind of Super Bowl and had to be in consideration for the Super Bowl MVP.

@Balfan23...........I could not agree more. No way should this team let Boldin go. He put this team on his back too many times. He is all heart!

Jacoby Jones and Torrey Smith were also awesome this year!

So proud of the defense for making that stand that nobody thought they could make.

That said, I have no doubt in my mind that if the 49ers had scored, Joe would've led yet another final-minute winning drive, punctuated with another clutch game-winning kick by Justin Tucker.

But I'm glad it went the way it did nonetheless.
