My Ravens Christmas wreath is still hanging on the door. I just could not take it down until the season was over. I think it'll stay up at least another week.

I think its Ravenslifer who won't even watch the game. I think it was him who said he wouldn't watch the Super Bowl because they play better.
Wow that's super serious if you can't even watch the game....

1) avoiding this mb. Seems like if I visit after a win I get hyped like everyone else and we lose the following week. So I didnt log in all playoffs, wanted to,,but didnt.

2) ray rice away jersey with ravens tshirt underneath. It works I swear

3) only odd number of people wearing ravens close in my house. My wife can't wear it and not have one of our kids. My wife and both to our kids can't all wear because even numbers don't work. So it ends up with me, my wife and my son lol

4) didnt shave my head for the playoff run, just shaved it this morning. M

1. Christmas tree still up.
2. Didn't shave.
3. Watched every game with my friends at their uncles house. Everyone sat in the same places. I would leave to go over there at the same time, every time.
4. Wore my #52 RL T-shirt, white Joe Flacco jersey, Ravens sweat pants, purple/blue boxers, black socks, customized nike Raven shoes every game.

You know, I highly believe attending my first Ravens game in Baltimore, back when the team played the Giants in December, had something to do with this Super Bowl run. Then, I returned to Baltimore to see the Ravens play the Colts in the Wild Card game.

I never gave-up hope, honestly; I really thought this would be the start of something special, especially with key players getting healthy/returning, while I knew Jim Caldwell (and the re-shuffling of the offensive line, I suppose) would finally show how unstoppable Baltimore's offense really was. Plus, having the privilege to see Ray Lewis, in his last home game, was amazing. Oh, and yeah; seeing how I live in Massachusetts, I represented the Ravens at Gillette Stadium, while witnessing something I waited 363 days for.

So, basically, attending 3-of-the-last-6 Ravens games was my superstition. That, and always wearing my Bernard Pollard jersey, during all these games (except for the game against the Bengals, ironically), played a part in making the Ravens this year's Super Bowl champs...

I never watch field goals live. I always leave the room to pace and watch the replay. I'm still convinced that that's the reason Tucker's overtime kick against Denver worked.

I also refuse to wear the jerseys for injured players. I got a Webb jersey for Christmas, and wore it for the Cinci game and we lost. Then I refused to wear it for any of our playoff games and we won all of them.

Ever since we drafted him, I have a stitched #5 Joe Flacco jersey that I would wear every game, every year. That continued this year up until Christmas, where my mother got me a brand new stitched #55 Suggs jersey. I wore it every game since then including the Super Bowl. I guess the extra 5 helped push us to Super Bowl Glory

Playoff ritual:
I went to my parents house to watch the game with my brother. He has to wear my white #55 jersey (although he's a Giants fan lool), I never wear any ravens jersey, just a white t-shirt.

Right before the game I have to drink a few bottles of some special german beer.

Hey, it worked for the Giants, Colts, Broncos, Pats and 49ers game, so I'll just keep it going for next season.

I haven't posted a comment here since the beginning of the playoff run. I just quietly observed, no matter how much I had to say.
Now that we finished it, I'm proud to say great job to the organization and to Ravens Nation. Going to miss you Ray!

I also think it's cool that we scored 34 points in both our super bowl games.

I wear my black Flacco jersey every week and will not wash it during the season...but this year I washed it after the Houston game to get all the bad mojo out of it for Joe and the team....and it worked! You all can thank me now for winning the Super Bowl for us! : )

honestly, i do'nt really care if we make it back next year. in fact, i was hoping we could all take the year off. there's gonna be so much pressure on us, and in-fighting probably. there's gonna be friendly fire fan hate. lets just forget about it for a year and enjoy this season even longer. i might retire as a fan. after such a low point a year ago in new england, i wasn't sure how much i'd put into this year. but i was there, YOU were there. WE DID IT this season. whatever happens next year, i don't care right now. maybe it takes the off season to recharge

I wore the exact same outfit starting with the Colts game and through the rest of the playoffs. Jeans, "Welcome to Ravens Country" t-shirt, Black Joe Flacco jersey, and a All-Black Raven hat. This may become my permanent gameday attire.

Never tried to get ahead of myself in thinking we'd actually go far in the playoffs. I know how feeling overly-excited last year worked out when we drove down the field in New England.

My biggest superstition was waiting to create a log in for the forums. I usually don't post to forums (I know I'm weird) and didn't wanna jinx us during the post-season run. Hey, it's only crazy if it doesn't work! Long time lurker now it's time to join the greatest fans in sports! :)
