Watching NFL Network (mistake, I know), and I just watched them discuss how important special teams would be. Shaun O'Hara said, "These two kickers were among the worst, percentage wise, in the NFL this year."

Willie McGinest and the host of the show nodded in agreement.

How do you get a job like that, where you can be so wrong and yet paid so well? Weathermen, politicians, and sports analysts. Jeez.

Anyway, that's just plain laziness. You'd think if they know what they'll discuss beforehand, they could at least look up the stats involved, or at least have them close at hand.

That's pretty bad. I know Akers had a down year but Tucker was money... You're absolutely right, anyone who is paid that highly should at least get their facts right.

From what I can tell he was 6th in completion percentage (90.9%, extremely high).

Tied for 1st in kicks over 50 percentage-wise (4/4)

They were talking about "Who has the edge?" and I kept waiting for them to point out that it's Akers vs. Tucker... apparently they didn't bother to do their research before talking.

I count 5 games that Justin Tucker scored the game winning Field Goal, or in the case of the Chiefs game, was THE reason for winning that game.

they can say what they want but you know what? The Ravens and Tucker are in the Superbowl.... and it was Tucker whom made it possible with the game winning Double OT kick in Mile High in a game that is now one of the NFL's all time greatest games. "The Mile High Miracle" it was tucker that made the winning kick. and despite what critics and people say...... He and the Ravens are the only ones in the AFC left standing. so hey he can be 7th percentage wise. doesn't bother me.
