I hope Ellerbe fares better than Roethlisberger did when their game got delayed. If I remember right, Roethlisberger had an ankle injury and his cortisone shot was wearing off during that blackout against the 49ers, causing conspiracy theories. Roethlisberger ultimately started doing worse (albeit against an extremely solid 49ers D).

The Ravens are used to losing the T.O.P and still being able to put up points on offense. I don't think this hurts the Ravens because of veteran leadership.

It actually helps the Defense imo. All that talk about this old defense(laughable) being tried now doesn't matter.

Really? I haven't checked but I felt like we had the edge in TOP.

I see some 49ers fans saying that our defense is old still and they will make some plays in the 4th against our D. Lets see how that works out for them.

This. This could cause us to lose some of our momentum. We would've run away with this game had the outage now happened.

And the 49ers themselves don't believe that.

All this does is gives them time to marinate on the fact that they're being blown out.

The more that it lingers that they're being blown out. The more they lose focus. This Superbowl is for the Baltimore Ravens.

Yeah well that's not really out of the ordinary. How many talking heads gave various reasons for why Baltimore couldn't beat Denver or New England. Now it's a reason why the Niners might pull out a win. Same old same old. Most of us Ravens fans seem to think that they play better as underdogs anyway.
