As some of you know, I am in the military and have been recently deployed on my 5th tour to Kuwait. Myself and two of my soldiers from Baltimore were approached and asked to appear for a shoot of us introducing ourselves saying something for our families and something about the Ravens. We did the filming today and for a short 30-45sec clip it took about 15 minutes. We kept saying things wrong. Laughing at the wrong times. The clip may or may not show for the SB because only a few get picked.

Just really cool and exciting experience to know that you may be seen by just about the entire viewing world and telling your families and your team how much you really care. So look for me on Sunday. I tried to shout out the flock in one take but they said that wasnt going to fly

Anyways, I am standing in between the two soldiers. My name is Staff Sergeant Robert Smith. I also give a wink at the end for my family back home.

We are standing outdoors in the day time. Most of the other ones were filmed in a broadcast trailer. Also one of my soldiers screams how much he loves his girl!

I said something like Let's Go Ravens, lets bring it home for 52 and get that second Lombardi!
