Well, he did admit to SI that he talked to the SWATS guy and told him to send product...not 2 years ago, but right after his triceps injury THIS year.

I feel bad for Ray having to deal with all the questions about the past. I mean it really has to be frustrating for him. He doesn't dodge these questions though, he addresses them but apparently that's not good enough because they'll ask him 5 more times before the interview is over.

[/quote]he didn't at the time though, so he has a point kinda. He filed at the retrospective tests which they've carried out in recent times when the testing technology has been upgraded.

These days with the way technology is advancing it wold be very hard to cheat a test, and if you can, it will be for a dry short period of time because then he testing technology will catch up with the drug.

On top of that, I don't think they have HGH tests, much less IGF-1 which is apparently the byproduct. It'll end up being a he said/she said situation. I mean, he (the accuser) "videotaped" a phone call, which means he either doesn't actually have Lewis's voice, or is potentially illegal depending on where Lewis is (consent is required by both parties for both Maryland and Florida). Until this "proof" has been presented, I'm not putting much stock into it.

They are taking the word of a snake oil salesman who is getting millions of dollars worth of free publicity due to this story. If you dig deeper into this story, and into this nut case, you realize that the whole thing is bogas. Until anybody actually hears these "recorded phone call," it is meaningless. But the media will take it an run with it.

Honestly, it is just another reason for people to hate, and another reason for Ray to win the big one in front of the world.

This is what I think:

Whoever this reporter is, is probably one of those Wes Welkers wife type Ray Lewis haters. Being mad that Ray is getting all this positive media coverage, when they believe he's a murderer, so they put this out to try and bring him down. Just bitter,jealousy, and hate.


I don't know the full story, and I can't prove if Ray did it or not. But I trust Ray until I get proven otherwise.

I would say you are either misinformed or the two writers at SI are lying about the videotape they saw/heard of the SWATS guy talking on the phone with Ray Lewis "hours after he tore his triceps during an Oct. 14 home game against the Cowboys." That was a little over 3 months ago, not 2 years.

And then they quoted Lewis admitting that he did talk to the SWATS guy.

Guess they are in store for a libel lawsuit since it can't possbily be true, right?
