If anyone doesn't know who Mike Flacco is, I'll give you the quick back story. Mike is Joe's brother who played baseball and was ironically drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2009(one year after the Ravens drafted Joe) and has been in their developmental system since. Now Mike wants to join Joe in the NFL. Mike is 6'5 and has added 30 pounds to his frame in hopes of becoming a NFL Tight End.

“I want to be there with him,” Mike Flacco said, via Mike Garafolo of USA Today. “I see everything he’s doing on the field and off the field, I want to do the same things. I’m just excited for Joe, excited to go down there. My stuff is my stuff. I’ve got to find my own ground. I know all of Joe’s success may help me, but at the same time I have to find what I want to do.”

Hm... Flacco to Flacco! I like the idea, and Mike is only 26 so he is still young enough where he would be able to have some development time to show what he can do as a Tight End.

interesting, I mean if he wants to , then why not. just got to prepare and if hes picked up study study study. I wish him the best. course he cant come in to the league and expect the same success his brother has had. if it happens ... then it happens but we'll just wait and see.

I wouldn't want nepotism to be the reason M. Flacco got special consideration. That being said, I hope he finds work somewhere else in the NFL!

When I first read about the Orioles drafting Mike, I liked the idea that Joe Flacco can lead the Ravens to the Super Bowl and that Mike Flacco could have eventually lead the Orioles to a World Series Title. Then Mike and Joe could have been the first brothers of Baltimore lol.
