Ravens Defense

6 posts in this topic

Ok so now that we've had everyone but Webb back and playing to their standard our defense gave up just 21 points to Peyton Manning.
We gave up just 13 to Brady.

Can we deduce now that if we had our entire defense healthy all season, that we would have ranked at least in the top 10?

Also, MUCH resoect to Dean Pees for doing what hes done with what he had to work with. Great move by the FO to bring in yet another in the long line of great Raven DC's

Possibly, yeah. We've been snake-bit like nothing I've seen before. Then again, perhaps those injuries and learning how to overcome them is a big reason why we are here today.

Also, DP said he doesn't want to be a head coach. That means more stability.

Yea I'm really hoping DP finishes his career here. What this man has done is truly amazing and his humility is incredible. I agree that overcoming that adversity made us better and it also gave our backups quality reps. Now that our starters are back in there our depth is crazy because all of our back ups on defense (with the exception of Omar, Asa, and Adrian) have seen significant time against quality teams.

It was really poor interior line play. That was our killer early.

Still is to be honest. NT is the biggest weakness on the team, and bad play there drags the whole line down.
