Quick Mock

I'm gonna go ahead and predict we trade back out of the first round once again. I think Buffalo is a prime trade target as they dont want to take a QB in the top 10, but probably want to get their guy before he comes off the board in the early 2nd.
So we trade our 1st and 5th for Buffalo's 2nd and 3rd round picks.
2) Arthur Brown, ILB, KSU -- This name isn't new, but he is a guy I have been promoting for a while now. He has been in a lot of Ravens mock drafts and for good reason. He has a ton of talent and would fit into defense flawlessly IMO. He brings athleticism, physicality, speed, and leadership to the LB corps.
2) Datone Jones, DE, UCLA -- Once again not a new name, but another guy I aboslutely love. I had him going to us in the 3rd in my original mock a couple months ago, but I think his stock has risen a bit and will likely be gone by then.
3) Stedman Bailey, WR, WVU -- Bailey is a bit undersized but plays with an edge. He has great hands and is excellent picking up YAC. Very shifty in the openfield with underrated explosiveness.
3) Sio Moore, OLB, UConn -- Moore is an interesting prospect. He flashes a lot of potential as a playmaker, but also has some flaws. I see a guy who can drop into coverage, rush off the edge, and set the edge against the run. However, he can take poor angles and doesnt always play through the whistle (some of that may be due to injury)
4) Shawn Williams, Safety, Georgia -- Bacarri Rambo is the more heralded of the two Georgia safeties, but Williams might be the better player. He has good size and has even play some LB at times. He also possesses good ball skills and the ability to cover man to man.
4 (comp) ) Joseph Fauria, TE, UCLA -- Fauria has great size and good hands. He can really go up and get the ball and would be a dangerous RZ weapon. He still needs to add some bulk and improve as a blocker, but his upside is very high. Michael Williams also a possibility here, although he is more of a run-blocker than recieveing threat.
5 (comp) ) Terron Armstead, OT, Ark Pine Bluff -- Armstead drew some nice reviews at the East-West Shrine game/practices. Physical and athletic he has a lot of the tools necessary to play at the next level. He needs some work on technique and footwork, but the raw talent is there.
The rest of the draft I don't really care to get into. Take BPA and hope to find a stud!

Jones has the potential to be a stud pass rusher at DE that we have not had since Pryce
We now have one ring for each middle finger
May shame rain down upon you from the heavens for the dastardly deed that hast been done!

Mt. Crushmore always makes about a million posts in a minute.
You no longer make a million posts a minute. You make a million trades a minute now....

See, total USC fan guys, he thinks a top TE is bad.

Nice mock. I dont really see any of the guys youre taking to be studs, but theres a lot of potential to get a few solid pieces. Potential for studs is there don't get me wrong, but I just dont see it being likely. However, you could end up with an art jones, bernard pierce etc... not a dominant players but a solid ones.

Seems good to me, its always nice to see people not mocking us a 3rd round comp pick.
Haha yeah, that bugs me a lot.

I like it. Not the biggest fan of Armstead and I'd like to take a guy earlier, but there's potential here. I feel like we really need to get a guy for the LT spot. Oher's not cut for it, not unless we go to a really fast WCO. I think Brown will be a top LB in the NFL relatively soon and Datone Jones is another guy with a ton of upside. He's a bit of a tweener DE/DT but he can really be a disruptive force. Him and McPhee could be a dangerous tandem to pair with Ngata and Jones. I also think Bailey is one of the most underrated receiving prospects out there.

I just dont see an immediate fix at LT in this draft unless we trade up maybe for Lane Johnson. Fisher and Joeckel I think have both solidified themselves as top 10 picks and I cant imagine Johnson will fall much further. Armstead has the protoypical size to play LT and he is very athletic which makes me think he could potentially be a long term answer if he gets stronger.I like it. He is athletic and has good size. Wasn't he 6'5"? His arms didn't look overly long. I remember him having a nice wingspan, however. Regardless, he does need to get stronger, that much I remember from the EWSG. You're right about JFJ, we're not getting them. They won't come anywhere close to us.I just dont see an immediate fix at LT in this draft unless we trade up maybe for Lane Johnson. Personally, I'd consider trading Michael Oher to a team like the Chiefs. They have a need at tackle, and Michael Oher's on his last year here. He's also due a big salary of 4.955 million next year, so his trade would free up some money not all. I'd like to use that to get another pick in the draft, perhaps to move up or take someone who falls. Not sure what we will get for him.

Dante Jones I see as Arthur Jones type. He needs a little time but he will be solid to above average. I dont see him being a superstar like Ngata. Mcphee is a good comparison. Mcphee isnt a superstar, but he is a very good football player who is still developing into an even better one.
Not really sold on your wide receiver prospect but who knows. Crazier things have happened with wideouts. He may be the next T.O. for all we know (talent wise). I wont lie I havent watched him a ton. I just feel he isnt the type of wide out we need.
As for Art Brown being a top linebacker in the nfl thats probably very wishful thinking and being generous with the word top. Thats not taking anything away from him, but he isnt Daryl Washington, Bowman, Willis etc... Still should end up being sold tho.

What about Da'Rick Rogers? I've watched some tape on him from his time at Tennessee and he looks like a potential #1 WR right there, but I think he falls to the back of the 2nd, early 3rd. He's got great size and strength at 6'3 206. Good speed and really good hands. His off the field issues push him back in the draft, along with the fact that he had to transfer to small school Tennessee Tech. I think he has a higher ceiling than Bailey, but also may have a lower floor.
What are your thoughts on him?

I assume your joking about trading Oher to KC. KC right now has had Branden Albert manning the LT very well and just signed Eric Winston last year as their RT . Even if Albert is not franchised The Chiefs could still draft Joeckel . If they don't draft Joeckel and don't resign Albert, why would they want Oher at LT when he is not very good there.

I wasn't joking but I forgot all about Winston, honestly. Still, there are plenty of teams that could use a tackle. I would at least entertain offers.I assume your joking about trading Oher to KC. I love his skillset, but the off the field issues concern me. I have a feeling that he might a guy that is completely left off the Ravens draft board. Another guy I like later is Marquess Wilson but he might not be an option for the same reason. What about Da'Rick Rogers?
