With Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Suggs, Boldin, Ngata and Rice, I don't think there will be any wavering from the main thing - SB 47 (I hate Roman numerals)!

A guy i see being a huge part of this superbowl is Jimmy Smith he plays the Run better than Chykie and against New England he played great press. He may be an X-Factor.

I've asked this before, but maybe it'll be answered better on this thread. What exactly is the schedule for the team like down there? Do they have to attend other obligations besides media day, practice, and meetings? Do the coaches and players just get a chance to walk around the city (likely not due to the crazy crowds though)? Since the game plan is all set, there can't be that much preparation time every day, so they should be able to have plenty of free time to be with family and friends. I remember in Jacksonville a few years back, people said they spotted Andy Reid and his family at various spots. I just figured they surely had time to just sit and relax, as well as prepare for the game.

The wait's great. Two weeks of riding on the AFC title. A date with infamy. Knowing all (at least most of?) those bumps and bruises and strains are getting healed up. Gotta go with veterans over rookies in the SB. We got the mix- young guns and Pro Bowlers. Hall of Famers and Pierce, Jacoby, Torrey, Pitta, Tucker, etc. They've got....Randy Moss? Colin K? Next sunday night I'll need Maalox, but that's a great place to be.

LOL i just read a article where someone was taking in consideration the injury report from this past week you really can take that into consideration when the super bowl is not for another week.

Our players are smart enough to not go crazy. They will keep level heads, still enjoy themselves, and bring home the trophy.

I'm sure the players realize and the coaches will emphasize to the 10th degree that this can be a once in a lifetime chance for all concerned. They'll be no stone left unturned or any eventuality not addressed so all will know, no matter the final score, that everything possible was done and at the end they all walk off with their heads held high for a job well done.

First off this team traveled the last two games against the biggest guns in the league. They are used to 'distractions' and seem to play better. And remember they are playing for Ray Lewis and his last game ever. Those distractions shouldn't be a hinderance. GO RAVENS!!! And thanks for the great play so far.

All the players have to do is play like they've been playing the last 3 weeks, everything will take care of itself. Our coach Harbaugh is a seemingly fun, laid back guy while his brother is not. That, in my mind, can certainly make a huge emotional difference in our favor.

How can you hate that? I will tell you I know of many more who have followed this team with their hearts for years and have waited for this day for a long long time. I haven't run into too many though that didn't have a soft spot for this team over the years, though. It might just be you perception of reality and not actual.

Sorry, my last message was mostly in reference to the X-factor article.
