Nice little anecdotes about Flacco from his old coaches.
Saw all of this first-hand when I was a high school senior during Flacco's first year as a starter, and then a lowly freshman during Flacco's senior year.

"Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection. It means never having to play it cool about how much you like something. It’s basically a license to proudly emote on a somewhat childish level rather than behave like a supposed adult. Being a geek is extremely liberating.”--Simon Pegg

Joe is elite folks .I cant imagine what he could do with a Pro Bowl line.
Only Yanda fits that category
He doesn't need a pro bowl line - all he needs is an average line that doesn't get shuffled around every 3 games, and a left tackle that doesn't let free defenders right by him once a game. A long-term left tackle would be a huge step towards solving most of our o-line problems, IMO.

Yeah I agree but the LT cannot be Oher.

If Flacco hadn't been so mentally tough, so supremely confident, so unafraid to fail, we might not be talking about 62 regular-season wins, five straight seasons with at least one postseason victory, eight playoff wins in total, the two AFC title games and a Super Bowl appearance for the Baltimore Ravens since 2008.

Totally agree - as good of a guy as Oher is, all I need to know about his abilities at left tackle is that an out of shape 33 year old who was cut by his former team and benched by his current team has outplayed him.

Jamie Dukes is the worst. He still refuses to give Joe credit. I dont understand how he still has a job considering how bad analyst he is.Ashley Fox is trying so hard to atone for her prediction it is funny! She should have done these interviews before lambasting the Ravens and Joe Flacco in the first place. To me she is still the worst blogger out there and will always fall into my 'hate list' of Ravens haters....

Not necessarily about this article, but I can't stand all the national attention to be honest. With the Ravens in the media all over place, it's really frustrating to see how little these so called "experts" know about us past the obvious headlines. I just wish some of these guys would actually do their HW.

Well even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. According to Dukes our playoff run is due solely yo Ray Lewis and Rice. He even specifically stated dont believe what people are saying about the QB. He's a complete moron.Jamie Dukes predicted the Ravens vs 49's early in the season for the superbowl. Just sayin.

There was a video of Dukes on NFL.com suggesting that Ray Rice is essentially the primary reason the Ravens have been so successful in the playoffs.
The guy is just nuts.
