There Seems to be a Superbowl Referee Controversy Brewing!

I see Boger lives and works in Atlanta. Think he would have been picked if the falcons were our opponent?

Good teams overcome bad calls. That's how simple it is. If we lose, we can't blame it on the calls. All teams have suffered their fair share of bad calls. It happens. You just have to overcome and adapt. We've done a good job at adapting to the bad calls.

Doubtful. The league wouldn't want any controversy and there would be especially after that official who was a Saints fan.

Guys, we're Ravens fans. Calls rarely go our way but we still manage to be successful. Let's just go play football and everything will take care of itself.

Hypothetical question that probably means zilch;

So, if you are a ref and a closet falcons fan do you want the Ravens to exact revenge for your team's loss or do you want them to lose to somehow make your team look better?

I thought about that. I'd want the team that beat my time to lose. Lol. To be quite honest.

I think the question here is the bigger picture. Sure, we want a good game called, but this is more about the inherent racism in a decision to fudge stats in order to get an "ethnically diverse" officiating crew. Its affirmative action at its worse, it promotes seperatism and racism. How can we, as a nation, be expected to lead the world and extinguish hate when these so called "PC" policies dominate staffing decisions in the work place, in public, etc etc?
Until people stop playing the race card on both sides, equality can't happen. People can't be judged on merit. Its sad.

Don't understand the Boger pick.. especially with all the downgrades he has suffered.

Let the conspiracy theorist run rampant now about how he was put in there to change the outcome of the game.

Did it say 8 down grades... all of which were over turned by the NFL... great!

Maybe with this added publicity it will keep the entire officiating staff honest . i would be more worried if we were playing denver, pitt or new england . my husband said if winter was refing to the superbowl he wasnt watching lol.
