Long time Baltimore natives may have known this but it comes as news to me! To be fair, she's rooting for the Niners and not against the Ravens.

To be fair I live in the niner Territory but I have been a Raven fan for way to long and I'm not giving up my Purple and Black color blindness...

Hometown doesn't mean anything - just ask Yankees fan LeBron James. Besides, she's been living in California since the 70s I think, so she was there through the whole Bill Walsh-George Seifert Era - I can't imagine not being a fan of that team after that time period.

yes.. my aunt peggy and uncle John. (that's what I have always called them) Mike is my 2nd cousin.. i love them all. doesn't matter where you move to or where your from or who you are........ Raven Fans are everywhere just got to look!

People should be true to their colors! Just because you live someplace else doesn't mean you're supposed to just change teams. Not saying you can't change teams either, but it should be because you like them and not just because everyone else is on the bandwagon.

I was raised in northern California during the Montana era and was a niners fan. They're still my favorite NFC team. I even bought a bunch of niners stuff for the baby (due in May) of a relative who is a big niners fan. I live near Baltimore now and am a huge Ravens fan. I don't see why it is a big deal to support the local team, even if it means leaving behind my past favorites.

Plus, what politician would be stupid enough to publically support a distant team against the local team?
