This just keeps getting better.
Why not send JaMarcus to the most dysfunctional team in the NFL?

The Jets are desperate to make Sanchez look good and so they brought in Tim Tebow and hell why not JaMarcus. Anything to make them feel better about that apology extension he signed.

What a joke. You'd figure that if he was serious, he'd get himself in shape BEFORE he announces a comeback. Maybe someone will find a sopt for him in the next gimmick offemse that comes out...wildpistoloptioncat anyone?

Russell ran a 5.2 forty yard dash time and registered a 29 inch verticalhttp://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4154/jamarcus-russell

You guys are extremely critical of JaMarcus Russell. Until any of you have walked in his shoes, dont be so quick to jude him. When you put 30 million dollars in the hands of almost any 24 year old kid, without a good support structure, they are going to fail. I think he is the rarity of 1st Rd. picks that didnt have that support. He got lazy after the payday and maybe hes tired of people talking and wants to prove himself. In some people, it takes time to see their mistakes. Instead of laughing at his attempt to return to the NFL, how about hoping for the best in people and hoping that the man can make something better of himself than he has. Im pulling for him regardless of his past. That is his past, now he is aiming for his future and working hard at it. Give the man a break!

PS. I am sure that there are no physical specimens on this board. Dont talk about the mans physical conditioning if you are no better than him physically. Im willing to bet almost nobody here could knock out 50 pushups and 50 situps in 1 minute for each respective exercise or run a mile in 6mins.

Going by that logic, this message board shouldn't even exist.

Youre missing the point.

Let the man work and prove himself and if he finds success, then cool, but at least he is trying to come back and maybe do it for the passion. When a man looks inside of himself, sometimes he sees how he screwed up (which he did) and wants to make right what was wrong.
Can he do those things? Doubtful. I'm rooting for him as well but lets be realistic.
