Bold predictions for the Super Bowl

167 posts in this topic

This is as bold as it gets:
Akers will miss 6 consecutive Extra Points, then he finally gets benched in favor of Alex smith who goes three for three, and then he gets a concussion and Colin Kaepernick comes in and makes three himself, and then we have the whole fiasco again

S Jax did not "manhandle" him, and AP can manhandle anyone. Besides, let's say Leach takes out Willis. But what about Bowman, Isaac, and J Smith?? Btw Leach is the best run blocking FB, but the best FB overall is Reece
First of, Reece plays more of an H back system. Not a true Fullback.
Birk handeled Wilfork, Issac will not do crap.
Justin Smith does not specialize in stopping the run.
Bowman is good and all, but Ray Rice and Pierce are very shifty. Bowman is not nearly the tackler that Willis is. Ray has been known to break them anyway.

As good as that LB corps is, it is nowhere near as good as the 2000 LB corps Bmore had, no comparion needed.

Of course my comment was deleted! :)

They delete me occasionally too. You would think this was a kiddie forum discussing sponge bob. Suggs would get banned from the forum in like an hour.

Anyway, bold prediction - Joe gets 4 td passes and continues with no interceptions and breaks the playoff pass record held by Joe Montana (I think, its Montana)

Ok so Yanda will take Justin Smith. Leach will try and take Willis. And birk will go after Isaac, while oher and McKinney will go after brooks and smith. Each guy has to be one on one. So what happens when one O-line men gets beat? There screwed. There is no one else to help and double team, because the other guard is working on McDonald and the rest are on there guy. Plus, this leaves Bowman wide open, and he is still a great tackler. Eventually one of the O-line guys will get beat, in the Denver game no one on the inside is a threat. Which allows them to double miller and dumervill. Now since they can't do that, the oline will get beat and SF will stuff the run.

Flacco excels in short passes. He is a QB who can truley make all the throws. We will use that to kill them

I have no grand delusions of a repeat of our first SB. SF is our opponent for a reason.

I do think that the turning point of this game will be a fumble recovery by our defense, which will result in us taking the lead and never looking back. You heard it here first.

Like I said. Kapernick has the worst SB for a QB ever. The fumble/INT that he throws will allow Bmore to take the lead and never look back

A close smash mouth game. 2 weeks is alot for players to analyze their game plan. Whichever team w/ on 2-3 miscues will probably lose the game. 28-21 Ravens

I think Joe will beat Montana's record of TDs without an interception in the playoffs. Three to tie, four to beat it. With that being said, Joe will be the MVP -- barring Lewis plays lights out.

Dude I've read enough of your "stuff", and normally I would just ignore it. You come on here acting like you are half a Ravens fan, but you are an indy fan. period. And you lost, so get over it. It's SB weeks for The Good Guys.

SuperBold predictions: Ray and Ed both get pick 6's.

Our shutout in the superbowl continues, San Fran only gets a field goal.

Alex Smith starts the 3rd quarter.

Akers goes 0/5. Lee gets put in, hits field goal.

Tucker makes longest field goal in superbowl history.

Ravens have a 40 burger, despite only having 50 total rushing yards. (Joe throws for over 450 yards).

Kaepernick stat line (before getting benched) 3/17 -2 yards, 3 INTs.

Boom.

Well I say its tied 27-27 going into the 4th quarter with a team getting possession at their 20 and going down to score

If Ravens have the ball starting any of the following will happen:
1) Flacco hits 60 yard bomb to Torrey to put them in FG range
2) Rice breaks open for his first run of 15+ the entire game to get to midfield, Pushes again to FG range
3)Ravens either have Tucker kick a 50 yard FG, or fake and run for a TD

If 49ers have the ball any of the following will happen:
1)Kaepernick throws a bomb to Moss/Crabtree that places them at our 40, but Akers shoots wide left/right
2) First down: Gore for 2 yards, Second Down: Incomplete to Crabtree, Third Down: Strip Sack/Recovery by Lewis/Suggs
3)Kaepernick throws a pick to Reed that's taken to the house to win the game

4) Kaepernick leads a game winning drive to SB glory

Final Score: Ravens 30-27
