Refs need to call something here. I might sound kind of biased, but had this been anyone else than Tom Brady or Peyton Manning maybe, this would've been a penalty. You've gott call this man, that's a dangerous play.

Seems like we always are against the Pats, though..How bout the hit on Ed during the fair catch ? No penalty

Didn't we have the same refs in the AFCC last year as well?

Brady is such a coward. He hit behind a ref on that one play as well!

1. Brady Slide - Reed said he respects Brady and doesn't think he's dirty. He said emotions run high, instincts kick in. It's all good. He doesn't think anything ill about the play.
2. Hit on fair catch - Reed called it merely 'incidental' contact. Didn't seem upset about it. Said he felt his groin injury and stayed down a bit longer because of it. He figured he had a tv timeout.

I think the media find it wasn't worth for their time cuz it's a girl kicking a man......Not even a whisper from the media about Tom Brady kicking Ed Reed.
But all hell breaks loose if its Suh.

1. My issue with the cleating is that it should have been a flag and a fine. Suh kicked Schaub and got flagged and fined, but Brady kicks Reed and no one bats an eyelash. It almost feels like there's a taboo against flagging Brady (did anyone else see the mortified look on the head ref's face when he saw that one of the judges had flagged Brady for intentional grounding?)Ed Reed just did a long interview on 105.7 the fan and he was very cool about both topics

2. It was helmet to helmet hit on a fair catch. I was under the impression that any contact with the returner on a fair catch is a penalty.

20 took the high road here and I'm glad he did. But Pollard is right, pure bull crap. I'm sick of this whiney brat and his team getting special treatment. There was an obvious bias towards the patsies last night and it should not be allowed to continue. Makes the NFL look very bad.

I remember Harbaugh talking with one of the refs, and right before they cut away, you heard John say... "COME ON, TOM!!!"
It doesn't matter who you are, you go into New England and you are playing the black & whites as well.

This!If it had been Flacco kicking McCourty, he would have been flagged. That's just life. And it made beating them all the sweeter.

Not like Ed to say something about another player so I'm not surprised. But I didn't like that play, then Simms explaining Brady was "protecting himself" pissed me of even more. QBs are basically a no fly zone nowadays, they literally don't need to protect themselves at all, on top of that Brady knows as well as anyone else once he started his slide feet first the play was immediately dead and he wasn't going to be touched. Especially not by Ed. His leg came up way to high for that to be a natural motion, you have to consciously bring your leg that high to do that. That's coming from a ball player who's done his fair share of spiking, you have to try to bring your leg that high.
2. Hit on fair catch - Reed called it merely 'incidental' contact. Didn't seem upset about it. Said he felt his groin injury and stayed down a bit longer because of it. He figured he had a tv timeout.
This was definitely incidental contact, it was their LS if I recall correctly and he just like stumbled and tripped himself and rolled into Ed.

UGGs spokesman is their darling. They made rules JUST for him (the tuck rule, the brady skirt rule)
But let's wait and see this week whether NFL has the balls to do what is right.

Could you paraphrase the interview please? I can't find it on the fans website.

Remember when Suggs was pushed and hardly grazed Tom's thigh. Tom turns around to the ref while pouting and just pointed for a flag and the ref threw it.
