I'm so pumped. I will be there. Section 127. Row 8. Looks like the Baltimore Sun is reporting ravens fans are out buying tickets and packages 3 to 1 compared to SF fans. Can't wait to hear the "O!" during the National Anthem.
Is this true I wonder?
I was curious to what our ratio will be.
I understand the flights leaving BWI will be charter flights. Can you imagine entire flights of nothing but Ravens' fans?
[profanity deleted], I'll be drunk before I even get to LA. lol

I am hearing some buzz about Ravens fans watching SB at Traceys Irish Channel Bar, Magazine and Third, NO.
I need unobstructed view of TV. Might need to guard 3 seats for a period of time. This sounds crazy but I had
similar experience at Whiskey Joe's in Tampa at the last BIG PARTY........Keep the posts coming. I will be stolling
Bourbon Street Saturday night before, seeking out the purple brethren. If not attending big game, would love to see
game with you, before all hell breaks loose Sunday night

Folks,

I have family to stay with in NOLA and looked long and hard at the $2500 tickets, but can't manage to get off work. Heartbreaker. I have a cousin who'll be working concessions and she promised to send me a scoreboard final picture.

But here's why I'm writing. I was lucky enough to get to SB45 in gerryworld 2 years ago on tix from a friend. it took 90 MINUTES to get through security. They had entire parking lots outside gerryworld tented over as security with metal detectors, frisking and the whole 9 yards. I know anyone who'se a Ravens PSL owner knows the NFL is just flat not a "just in time" experience, but I figure a lot of you aren't and wanted to share a warning. Be in line 2 hours out. There's lots to do in the stadium.

Have fun everyone, I'll be watching on TV

No doubt! M&T used to be like that. However, in the past year the have gotten much more proficient with metal detectors instead of pat downs.
We will make a mental note to head in 2 hours prior.
I know the tailgate party is 1:30-4:30, so I guess that is an indication of when it is time to walk.
Thanks!

Your account number is placed in a lottery to buy tickets at face value.
The account numbers were picked prior to the Pats game and then revealed after. I read 17.5% of all Superbowl tickets are Ravens owners; 17.5% 49ers. I would think it should be at least 25% each, but what do I know.

wish i could go...but the prices aren't worth it. HOnestly, I dig watching at home on the big screen, with the commentators, and the conversation of my good friends. Oh, and the access to microbrews and good alcohol is tons better than paying 9 dollars for budweiser, the beer of poor people
keep trying to convince yourself of that. LOL

this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I for one refuse to miss it.

This is all I know until I get the details:
PrimeSport will also host the Official Baltimore Ravens Pre-Game Tailgate located on the dock behind the Riverwalk Marketplace, just a few blocks from Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Partygoers will enjoy 3 hours of tailgating with an open beer and wine bar, authentic New Orleans tailgate food, live entertainment, NFL appearances, and much more!

WNST is doing something at the "Howlin Wolf" located in the warehouse district
http://wnst.net/nfl/legendary-howlin-wolf-will-be-purple-ground-zero-for-all-baltimore-ravens-fans-in-nola/
I called down there- they only have 2 TVs. May still go with "Tracey's" to watch the game.
The Howlin Wolf features live music-should be a good party Saturday and Sunday nights-
charging $25 for each night.

Hi all -- I'm a reporter for The Times-Picayune | NOLA.com in New Orleans, and I'm being pulled off my usual beat (education) to cover Ravens fans in town for the Super Bowl. You can have tickets to the game or not. If you'd be interested in having a reporter follow you around, please get in touch via message or ddreilinger - at - nola - dot - com. I'm a fairly recent transplant from the East Coast myself. Thanks!

EricH,

The Riverwalk is a good 20-30 minute walk from the Superdome, maybe longer if the women in your party wear heels.

Almost broke down and bought tickets when I got an email from American advertising $164 round trips to Jackson Miss, but by the time I got to the website the plane had gone up to 1200. And am still stuck at work...

Go Ravens!

Just having a mega raging party for the super bowl. Re-vamped my man cave with 3 new fat heads, got my signed Boldin jersey on the wall. Spent about 500 dollars on food and beer as well. 70 inch flat screen and surround sound. Ready to watch some ravens football and super bowl commercials.

Hey all,

Saints fan here! Wanted to wish you all good luck in tomorrows game. Y'all will have a very good showing of fans at our dome. A few of my friends (Saints fans) are going to the game sporting purple in support. The 49ers are old enemies of ours from the old NFC West days, so most of us are rooting for you guys. The city is rockin' right now! The Riverwalk is absolutely beautiful! The weather is perfect (70 degrees and sunny). Since it's Mardi Gras time here, I highly suggest to those of you coming here to enjoy some crawfish and king cake. Beware though, you may leave a few pounds heavier with a massive hangover ;)

Good Luck tomorrow and enjoy our city!

Apparently an incredible number of Ravens fans are there. They just showed a steamboat go by the NFL Network set and even they called it a "floating M&T Bank Stadium".
