Anna Burns Welker is even worse a sore loser then Bilicheck

99 posts in this topic

Who am I kidding, . She's a low class loser. Today she took to her facebook account to trash Ray Lewis for what happened back in Atlanta. I have several words I would really like to use to describe Anna Welker, but I know this thread would be closed if I used them.

"Proud of my husband and the Pats," Burns Welker wrote. "By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. 6 kids, 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!"

I know Anna was a Miss Hooters girl International pageant winning back in 2005. Nothing much has changed, because because she is still a boob.

Who cares what losers think
I hear Raven haters all the time on the facebook page bring up Ray's past. I know that is all they have, because they can't say anything about the man's career, because it has been that good, but it still irks me. I know Anna Welker is the poster woman for life's loser, it just angers me. Her commnents just cements why so many people outside of Massachuesetts hate the Patriots. Not all Pat fans are like Anna Welker I know, but it's the bad ones like her that can make a whole organization look bad.

I'm curious what Gisele has to say this time. Maybe "My husband can't throw and catch the ball and play defense"?

Just a bitter loser trying to make herself feel better by joining the other sheep who won't let facts get in the way of a good story.

I have no ill will towards Wes Welker, and it's unfair that he will be the one who has to talk to the media about his idiot wife making a fool of herself on the internet.

She's a pathetic phony, just like all the Raven haters who dump on Ray for his make of hanging with the wrong crowd. If Ray Lewis was a member of the Patriots who had a great career with the Pats, I know full well, she would never ever ever say one bad word about him, and that goes for all the anti Raven trolls who are fans of other teams if their team also had Ray playing for their team., Oh yeah, I'm definiitely going to have to get an Adam Jones Jersey before the O's season start, good guy.

Just a nobody, don't care... sad that people feel this way, though. And the fact that he has 6 children? So what? He's involved in all of their lives and figures to be even more so when he retires.

Found this on an Orioles forum... I think it'spretty well said.
There's some truth here, but I think it simplifies an important distinction. I think it's not that Ray Lewis "clearly" gets a pass because he's a hometown guy, but that hometown fans are more likely to withhold judgement until everything comes to light and they've done their research. Opposing fans that dislike the Ravens, want, consciously or subconsciously, for that dislike to be rational and are happy with the narrative that Lewis is a murderer. It gives your team some vague sense of moral superiority.

All fans are guilty of this, just not as many have things to latch onto with the same gravity as the Lewis scandal. Roethlisberger is a good example. I don't like the Steelers. I don't like Roethlisberger. And my opinion of him as a scumbag is definitely influenced by the sketchy charges against him. But the reality is I don't actually know much about the incident or the accusations or the legal proceedings. (For this reason, I also don't go around openly accusing Ben of being a [profanity deleted].) Steelers fans are probably much more knowledgeable on this subject.

If accusations came out claiming ARod was a child molester, Baltimore fans (all other fans, really) would be much faster to assign guilt than Yankees fans. That's not to say Yankees fans would give him a free pass, just that they are going to wait until all the evidence is available before castigating the guy.

Lying to the police is no joke, especially when two people were stabbed in the heart, and Ray's behavior in the incident was not admirable. But he was young and dumb and, most importantly, he did not murder anyone. The testimony of the only witness who even claimed Lewis was directly involved in the altercation is dubious. Lewis was rightly charged with Obstruction of Justice and paid his dues. Then, as others have pointed out, he did a great deal to turn his life around and help those around him. To point this out is not giving Lewis "a pass" simply because he's a great football player for the hometown team, it's protecting the reputation of man whose integrity is frequently and ignorantly dragged through the mud. To accuse Lewis of keeping unsavory company and wrongly trying to protect said company is totally fair, to accuse him of murder is not.

I feel I can be fairly objective about this because I didn't start following the Ravens until ~2006, well after the super bowl or the murders.

.....I don't see how anyone can not see this as a major point. Baltimore fans are passionate about Ray because we've seen what he means to people on and off the field. We know who he has become. He plead guilty to the misdemeanor, did his probation and changed his life. For people to hold that night against him after everything that has transpired since reeks of jealousy and sour grapes.

Wow, she definitely crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed. Set aside the Atlanta issue, but you don't cross the personal family line by talking about his wives and his kids.

Bad losers always bring up non pertinent issues to try to deflect attention from their deficiencies. This scum bag just made herself apparent as an idiot and nothing more need be said. Hopefully Wes doesn't share her view.
