BALTIMOREFLACCO

Suggs rips N.E.

As much as I love Sizzle, I didn't appreciate the rant, especially at their stadium, when they were down and we were feeling the high! Again, you don't know if Sizzle was just making noise with no ill-will..... Sizzle is hard to decipher sometimes. :(

I agree with him, but it's not his place to say. Whats up with all the trash talk lately?

Between the penalties and the trash talk, one would think Harbaugh threw the high character /discipline philosophy out the window.

Lol sure seems that way. But I think in this game particularly Harbaugh pushed the envelope of physicality to the edge and was going to live with some penalties. To beat NE you have to beat them up in every facet. Theres a fine line between ferocity and disciplined physical football. Again I think Harbaugh wanted to beat guys up and was going to live with some penalties this game.

Vereen dropped a pass because it was behind him a bit and he knew Ellerbe was going to blow him up. Brady threw a brutal 4th down pass because he didn't want Ngata to hit him.

After watching Tom Brady slide with his leg up up on Ed Reed I think Suggs has a point. Oh, and where was the flag and fine for the obvious helmet to helmet on Pitta??? Then Belichick can't even give CBS an interview. Not to mention Wes Welker's wife's ignorant comments. Suggs was right. No apology needed.

This is a professional football team who has yet to congratulate the ravens and dissed the public including there own fans last night . after last week and all the attention the pats got etc you have to be a saint not to say something i would gloat too . brady all but mocked flacco lewis and reed in his pressors. he said lewis was always in the middle of the d ,,,,,,really thats the best he could say . suggs earned the right to say something . then the press he's right there is no more room on the bandwagon . I'm glad someone finally had the balls to say something .

Part of being a professional and making millions of dollars is understanding what your responsibilities are as an employee of an NFL franchise. As a head coach, you speak to the media. The NFL is not about the "purity of the game." Go watch a 1A high school football game for that. It is a spectator sport that charges fans hundreds of dollars a pop to watch, a land of billion-dollar-plus TV contracts and lucrative advertising revenue, an empire which markets billions of dollars worth of merchandise and fan experiences, and part of what makes that possible is the opportunity for fans to have access to coaches and players while the action is transpiring.

As a fellow professional, I think there was a lot more frustration in Sizzle for all the times he still granted access when he probably would have preferred to scream his head off in private, recognizing as a professional, it's his job to do so. I think he had the right to utter his disdain at Belichick in the heat of the moment. There HAS to be a complete lack of respect when you did your share at a low moment and watched someone who gets more credit in that same media fail to conduct themselves in a similar manner. Of course, I'd prefer us not to give these donkeys any locker room material, especially considering that we have to play them during the 2013 regular season, but I can understand and respect the emotions that 55 had.
