Breer was in the Ravens tunnel and overheard him yell it.

Branch is salty about it. Typical Pats trying to make themselves look like a victim: http://nesn.com/2013...ogant-comments/

The media is always trying to drum up a story. They got beat, end of story and no whiny pouting from Brady was going to stop that butt whoopin.

Suggs didn't post it on Twitter, someone else did.

someone else, who overheard it in the tunnel. Just the truth, and not intended for public consumption.

Sizzle has a tendency of shooting off at the mouth first then thinking second sometimes. The comments he made about Tebow was not cool, but he is what he is. As for the Pats, I don't think the team is arrogant so much as it's their fan base that can be arrogant blanks. New England is a great team, and hopefully we will be fighting them again for the AFC Championship next year.

I think Sizz was reacting from the emotion of the moment. Ya know....New England....road game...AFC Championship WIN!

He'll buckle down and shut his yap...focus.

Why should Sizzle apologize when a reporter, who bases his career on sensationalism, creates public drama over something unnews worthy?

I don't see the problem with this, just like I didn't see the problem with BA's comments. It would be one thing if a coach said it, but players should be allowed to speak what they really think, and not have to sound like the same cookie-cutter poster-boys they're all expected to. This is a sport that requires you to go out and hit people. Be as mean as you want to be, as long as you aren't breaking any rules. Twitter comments after a game about disliking your opponent aren't breaking any rules.
Besides, for all the talk about "bulletin board material," all it does is make a game, or even a rivalry, that much more interesting. I'm all for it.

It's the truth. Those guys actually feel some enitlement to be automaticly in the super bowl each year....No clue why because it's been almost 10 years since they've won a sb.

Last night we exposed them for what they really are (coward is the g rated word) cowards that can't stand toe to toe with us. Humiliating them in their house infront of the world is the sweetest revenge we could have for every one of those times when they somehow made a deal with the devil and.slipped away from us.

Not going to disagree with Suggs. The entire Patriots organization bleeds arrogance, and they have the most obnoxious fans in the NFL. That said, what Suggs said needs to keep that talk in the locker room and be a bit more subtle with his insults where people can hear him.

No. He's not wrong for saying that. Was it a little on the colorful side? Yeah. But Patriots fans show us no respect. It's already a win in their book. And has anyone forgot about that one woman's comments about Torrey's brother after we beat them in the regular season? So, good on ya, Suggs.

he didnt tweet it or anything just happen to have a reporter near him desperate to get front page. besides that i agree 100% with him after brady tried to kick ed on that slide it just made it glaringly obvious how cheap and arrogant they are.

Okay this needs to be said. I'm going to explain something about CLASS to the Ravens, Seahawks and countless other teams out there who obviously need a lesson in this area. First off, i'm a Bears fan but over the years I have developed a lot of respect for players like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady and their teams. Why? Well not only have they played at a level higher than everyone else (especially the Patriots) and they did it with class. You never hear a bad word about opponents coming from either of these guys or their team. No trash-talk, just praise.

So the playoffs rolled around this year and my Bears weren't there so I decided to root for the Broncos and Pats. And when the Broncos/Ravens game came up several of the Ravens decided to start with the trash-talk, including Ray Lewis. Nice job showing leadership and maturity there Ray. What a great example for the younger players. And how did Manning and the Broncos respond? They shrugged it off and only had good things to say about the Ravens.

So the Ravens get lucky and beat the Broncos and move on to the Patriots. Immediately the trashtalk begins again when Brendon Ayanbadejo bashes the Patriots and the hurry up offense. He essentially calls it a "cheapshot" which is funny coming from a team with Bernard Pollard on the roster. How do the Pats respond? The same way the Broncos did, with class.

And now the Ravens win the game and move on to the SuperBowl but do they praise their opponent as Brady and Manning would if they had won? Of course not. Instead they trash-talk again, showing poor sportsmanship whether they win or lose.. lol Unfortunately this isn't just a problem with the Ravens, they are just one of the top offenders. Its a league-wide problem. I'd like to say its just a problem with the younger players but obviously that isn't the case .

I heard it on one of the post game shows, there was an article in USA Today about why Suggs hates Brady last week, and that was why.

Yeah! We said it! Whatever they said we said, we said it!

I could care less about smack talk after the game. If you win, you've won the right to talk smack.

When a fan base pays for a billboard counting down "Ray's retirement party" 1 week before the game and then has a player's wife (a former Hooters girl) talking trash all bets are off.

Lets not forget their coach not speaking after the game, all the comments Brady has made over the years, or how a punk like Edelman gets cocky all the time.

Who cares? Really, it's his prerogative. If he doesn't feel like talking to the press, he doesn't have to. In my opinion, it is no indication of his character.

I don't care either but if the role was reversed and Harbs didn't speak the media would be all over him.

Belichick and Brady are weak! no class! Brady just walked off the field with no congratulations to Ray or the Ravens to represent the AFC in the Superbowl. pitiful! but to a degree, i understand it. i can remember when Jordan and the Bulls FINALLY broke through and beat the Pistons and Isaiah Thomas and the crew just walked off the court with no handshakes. lol! It was the "new" kids on the block knocking off the "old guard." this is the same thing! the Ravens are now the "new kids" on the AFCCG and Superbowl blocks and they've had to go through the "old guard" in the patriots 2xs to get there. great job Ravens!

Is he wrong?
Exactly. I find it hilarious that Deion Branch responded to that by saying "that's not how champions speak", and then we hear about some used up hag that latched on to Welker rip into Ray.

Suggs is right, that organization is full of themselves.

Screw the Patriots feelings. Classless organization right down to the fanbase.

ESPECIALLY the fanbase, in my experience

I love the line Sizzle gave the reporters after the game.
It was something like, "Don't jump on the bandwagon now...we don't need ya!" lmao
