I love this guy! Last week he picked the Ravens to upset the Broncos and now he is predicting the same thing against the Patriots, I remember last year he predicted us to go the Superbowl at the beginning the of the season, I think he did it again this year.

Is he a Baltimore or Maryland native or anything?

He shows nothing but love to the Ravens!

He did pick us to go to the SB again before the season even started.

On a related note, last weekend Cris Carter did a segment on Countdown called "Where You At?", and included The Swami as one of his missing people. He cited the fact that Berman had picked the Chargers in 13 games, the Bills in 12 games (I can hear him bellowing now "The Bills are circling the wagons!" Hahaha) and the Eagles in ALL 16 of their matchups. The result was something like a 15-26 record I think, to which Berman could only shrug. I've always liked Berman because he is usually pretty knowledgable but also has the personality of a real "color commentator", even if I hate his Applebee's commercials, haha.

Berman is a good analysist and is said to be one of the nicest guys you are ever going to meet. I think that he is actually an unbiased reporter, just thinks we are the better team.

The better team wins games, which is why I'm not afraid of this game, bc in reality Denver was soooooo much better than these guys. We should win

I dont think Denver was much better than the Pats. They are pretty equal IMO. Denver has a much better defense, but NE was far and away the best offense in the NFL. The one thing that concerns me about this game is the up-tempo and quick snaps that Brady loves to pull. I'm also worried they may try to exploit Ray Lewis in coverage but that may come back to bite them.

Not sure where you heard that, but its definitely not true lol. Like Cville-Raven said, watch his off-air rants. And not only that, but my grandfather used to be a limo driver, and drove Berman once or twice. The guys a tool-bag. My grandfather always kept his limo in tip-top shape, and Berman always tried to find something to wine about. And he was a jerk when he first got picked up. So I'm glad he picked the Ravens to win, but I don't like him as a person.

I like Berman, even though I believe he said Ray Lewis would be a bust. He has been paying for that ever since, so I think that's why he is the way he is when it comes to evaluating our team. You can't always judge a book by its cover!!

He's always been one of my favorite analysts. I find myself agreeing with him more times than not (and yes, I would have said that before he picked the Ravens to win the Super Bowl), but he does a great job of getting his thoughts in without dominating the show when other analysts are involved.

Chris has always been a Raven supporter as far as i know. I like his on screen work. However, just like with the players that are less than "Good People" i can not like him or enjoy his professtional work. Too Bad !
