Ellerbe has been the straw that stirs the drink for our D this season. We saw the same thing with Sizzle last year, when he is on the whole D is on. And just like Sizzle, Ellerbe can do it all. We've seen him blitz, cover, and chase down the RB. He has that energy that he brings to the team and we've seen it since his rookie season, and now we are starting to see it flourish.

First of all Brady is going to have the time to throw the ball and he's not. The blitz packages will be full scale beat down blitzes. Once sizzle and company get inside Tommy boys head that will tell the story of the game. GO RAVENS 34-20

One thing for sure is that NE depends alot on Welker and he has to be kept under wraps as much as possible. He'll get his catches, for sure. I've always said that I thought that we could use Doss just like they use Welker. We shall see......I'm looking forward to the Harbaugh Bowl.

I have a friend who is NOT a Ravens fan... laughed and said to me last week... Once Ray retires, you guys are "screwed"... "You guys are going to need to draft another LB"... He just kept talking about the "only" LB worth looking at was Upshaw, and he was going to be a while... I asked him if he knew ANYTHING about Football... Laughed back at him and asked if he knew who Jameel McClain was... Asked him if he knew who Dannell Ellerbe was... There was silence...

We will still have a GREAT Linebacking corps. Suggs, Kruger, McClain, Ellerbe, Upshaw... need I go on???

I don't think LB is a huge need, Ellerbe and McClain will start next season, if Ellerbe comes back. Then you have Bynes as a backup and B.A. Maybe we draft one in later rounds, or replace McClain with a high draft pick, but to get one that worthy i think we will have to trade up.

I wouldn't mind letting Cary Williams walk, he hasn't impressed that much this year, ad Graham has played a lot better. Graham and Webb start next season, and Chykie Brown and Smith come in on nickel. I just hope we get Ellerbe and Kruger resigned, they will be big for our Defense in the future.

I believe they will try to pull our safeties back with a couple of deep balls, which opens short and intermediate routes. That's their bread and butter.

Ravens X-factor: Ray Rice / Bernard Pierce the 2 headed monster and change of pace.

Our X-factor is Joe Flacco and for some reason no-one believes he can get the job done consistently.

Now those of us who actually watch football have noticed that Joe has been hot and consistent since losing to Denver. Winning this game is the next step in his being able to consistently dominate when it matters most. He knows the Patriots very well, they are ranked in the bottom end against the pass, and if they sell out to beat the long ball then we will beat them with the short game.

Furthermore, I believe our defense doesn't have to change their game at all. They are prepared to play a ton of snaps, and keep everything in front of them. The Patriots may win the time of possession battle, but as long as we score more points then they have hardly a chance to win this one.
