Hightower vs. Upshaw

The fact that Upshaw is already one of the best OLB against the run says something. He has all his youth to work on his pass rushing skills.

Both are pretty good, impossible to tell who'll have the better career.

Hightower is sort of in your Jeremiah Trotter/Levon Kirkland big inside linebacker who's good in the trenches but not a guy you want covering a Ray Rice or relying on to run to the sideline on a speed back.

I like Courtney, you'd wish for a few more sacks or consistent pressure, but he usually sets a good edge and is just a super physical player. Like people have noticed, he doesn't have great quickness, he's a power guy, but you can obviously make that work for you too.

One thing I've noticed lately on some special teams hits and in the open field is this guy like to really jack people up and obviously has the strength to do it. It started with, I think, the Redskins game on the fumble David Reed recovered with too much momentum and slid out of bounds. Courtney just massacred the ball handler, it was impressive.

I know that it is herd to compare them as they are playing two different positions.
I just wanted to compare the impact that they had/ might have for thier teams in the past/future.

They were both linked to us in many mock drafts and a lot of people wanted us to take hightower.
I think that we took the right person.

I think Upshaw will be the better package/player on his position in the future and already is...
