Nah, it's one thing to point out flaws, but calling for his head after week 2 (and ever since lol) was a bit much from some people..

I think he's pretty decent. I would be happy if he is our DC next year, but there are definitely a few other guys I'd rather have as well.

I think your sentiments sum up my opinion as well. He's not bad, he's not great. It's hard to judge him because the defense has never been 100% since he's been here. Then again, from what I've seen he seems to prefer a lot of ILB blitzes and DB blitzes. As well as zone. Not sure I like zone for our personnel. Regardless, who would you like over Dean?

I like Reggie Herring the Linebackers coach from Houston.

I used to think Clarence Brooks could be that answer, but I'm not so sure anymore. Also, I wanted Pees gone and if a better candidate came along I'm not so sure I still wouldn't be up for change. With that being said, can't be mad at him right now. He's made plenty of adjustments and we're playing really good ball on D. We can still clean some stuff up, but he's done really well the last few weeks.

Let me guess. Larry Bird > Michael Jordan
Am I right?

I was very impressed with the defense in the playoffs. The pressure was excellent against the Colts, especially on third down. We didnt generate a ton of pressure last week, but that was because the Broncos o-line is very good.

If Pees brings the heat tomorrow, we can beat Brady around and not let him dump off his dinky little passes to Wes Welker all day, we will do very well against him.
