For an Outstanding Pick That Could Help us on Defense just Sign him to a one year 390,000 deal
1. I don't think you're going to get anything close to an "outstanding pick" for Bryant McKinnie at this stage of his career.
2. He has to agree to that deal, he's going to be a free agent. If a team was interested enough to give away a pick for him, they would offer more than the minimum.

The cardinals said they weren't interested in him earlier this season. We aren't going to sign McKinnie back just to trade him, teams don't do this.

You have to wait a certain period after signing a player to trade them. Even then, this is the NFL, not Madden, so he wouldn't be traded.
